Beautiful small café, clearly made with so much love in every detail!

Coffee: Quality is excellent, the coffee has this wonderful nutty, full taste and always hits. The oatmilk used is O..ly. The best there truly is in milk substitutes for coffee. The (cow)milk used is organic and good quality. Coffee sizes are good. Some of the best coffee you can get in Berlin, I'd say.

Cakes/ Food: The cakes are all premium quality, most entirely organic, vegan option available. Extremely tasty, never too sweet or anywhere near dry. The food is so so so good. Portions are perfect, spreads are home made, veggies always fresh and everything beautifully presented. And really, ALL food is good. From breakfast platters for two, granola to the Bagels to the French toast (that honestly might just be my fav), it's all so worth it.

Staff: A beautiful place is nothing without the people that run it. All staff has always been extremely warm and friendly, service is nice and fast.

Atmosphere: Warm, wonderfully designed, small and homey, beautifully dry flowers: also to buy. The place is always so clean despite usually being very well visited, bathroom included! Laptops are okay from Mo-Fr but not allowed on weekends! It's too packed and I understand the owners choice.

You can tell it's an honest business by how it's run and by whom it's run....

Fourty’s is the best place to have breakfast😍 I love visiting the beautiful location in the heart of Kreuzberg. The interior is one of a kind and the outside area is ideal to have a summer brunch. They offer a variety of homemade cakes and the breakfast is phenomenal. My friends and I have different eating habits but everyone always finds something that satisfies them. The coffee blend is really nice and the milk the use is absolutely top quality. I love the personal touch the owner gave this place and how everything feels warm and cozy. It became a nice spot for all neighbors and in summer it has the perfect vibe. The dried flowers are a plus. At first I thought they are part of the decor but you can actually buy them and one of these handpicked bouquets now adorns my mom’s dining table....

This is one of those places that looks good as you’re hunting down cute coffee shops on Google and then you go and it exceeds your expectations. When I saw cake in the reviews and photos, I knew I had to try it. The chocolate cake with berries was exquisite. I don’t know what the secret is but it really was moist, like a hint of strawberry in the frosting maybe and delicious with the juicy berries and a surprise pomegranate seed or two on top. The lemon and carrot cakes looked delectable as well. My coffee also came out perfect. It’s a small family owned shop with a warm, quiet ambiance. The staff was friendly and kind.
