L'Osteria Berlin Humboldthafen — Restaurant in Berlin

Don’t offend leave a review but definitely needed to for this restaurant. Where to start visited here on the 30th dec was greeted and seated by very polite gentleman who English was very good (Ergun) he went out the way to make you feel welcome we was seated very fast we didn’t have a booking and the restaurant was very busy however this wasn’t issue at all for the staff we was seated up Stairs with a very nice table with a stunning view on the restaurant and the river over the road we ordered drinks and then ordered food, to say everything is made fresh was surprised how fast the food came considering the restaurant was full! Very well managed the food was absolutely delicious hands down the best pizza I have ever tasted all the other staff was very pleasant also, it was that nice we came back on the 2nd dec for our last meal before we returned home and it was also my girlfriend birthday, we was greeted by Ergun again and he instantly remembered us which I was shocked by as he must of seen loads of people from ours last visited we got talking to him before we was seated and we explained that it was that nice last time we thought we come back again for my girlfriend birthday meal he couldn’t of made more of a effort for my girlfriend birthday outstanding customer service! had a amazing second meal also even the kitchen crew came and brought us food recognised us definitely need to look after ergun and keep him working for you for many years as he is a asset to your restaurant definitely...

It is not often that I leave negative reviews, unfortunately in this case I have no choice. Let's start with the fact that I worked in gastronomy myself and I know how hard it can be when the crew is understaff. That's why my torelance for mistakes/long wait times is quite high because I always try to be understanding. Today, I invited my friend for dinner at this restaurant. It was quite crowded however we were able to sit outside. After about 15 minutes, we ordered drinks and food (appetizer, pasta and pizza - all very classic and simple). We got the drinks after about 30 minutes of waiting. However, the appetizer arrived an hour after ordering, and the main courses finally 2 hours after ordering. We understand that it was Friday evening and there were only 3-4 waiters in the restaurant, but in such a situation it would have been appropriate to hear at least a brief word of explanation, or the simplest "we're sorry for the delays" - that would have taken care of the matter and maybe prevented this negative opinion. I leave aside the fact that the tables that came after us received their dishes faster than we did. The pizza was good and of substantial size, unfortunately the pasta dish was cold and the pasta itself tasted reheated. Very sad, as we will probably not return to this restaurant again, although the location and views...

Mi dispiace dover commentare un ristorante in modo così negativo solo a causa di una persona che ci lavora e che non ha operato correttamente. Sono sicuro che la direzione non abbia dato le disposizioni che lei ha adottato ma purtroppo il servizio é stato pessimo e se non c'è un meccanismo di controllo da parte del management che fa il personale di front line é ciò che fa l'azienda.

all'arrivo la signora mi ha detto di accordarmi a un tavolo che era accostato a una colonna di cemento e che onestamente mi metteva tristezza. Le ho chiesto se potevo invece mettermi a un altro tavolo che era invece più vicino al fiume, ma é andata via dicendo qualcosa che non ho capito.

Mi sono seduto dove mi aveva detto. Quando é tornata con il menu le ho chiesto nuovamente se mi poteva far spostare e mi ha risposto: certamente! Come se prima non le avessi chiesto niente.

Sull'altro tavolo c'era dell'acqua poiché poco prima era piovuto. Pensavo che la togliesse ma visto che non lo faceva le ho chiesto se per cortesia poteva provvedere. Mi ha detto che non aveva tempo e che per questo mi aveva indicato l'altro tavolo.

Devo precisare che l'acqua dal tavolo non l'ha tolta nemmeno quando é tornata a portare le pietanze. Quindi ho cenato su un tavolo che aveva un po d'acqua piovana. Che dire, a Berlino c'è molto la cultura easy, non ho fatto troppi discorsi.

Ho ordinato un piatto di Spaghetti alla carbonara in quanto di solito é un piatto che non dovrebbe contenere né aglio né cipolla ai quali sono allergico. Tuttavia, siccome oramai ho imparato ad essere molto prudente, ho chiesto alla cameriera cortesemente di segnalare in cucina il problema, cosa che faccio sempre in quanto é una allergia che nel corso del tempo é diventata sempre più debilitante e con effetti pesanti. Non mi ha detto che lo avrebbe fatto e ha affermato con molta sicurezza che sicuramente non sono ingredienti previsti in quel piatto. Ho insistito un po chiedendo di raccomandare di non fare contaminazioni involontarie, ma la risposta é stata la stessa e molto stupidamente da parte mia, poiché avrei dovuto andarmene per non espormi a rischi, ho accettato la risposta.

Puntualmente, purtroppo, la notte, a causa evidentemente di una contaminazione, ho sofferto le conseguenze. Ne sono sicuro in quanto é l'unica cosa che ho mangiato e riconosco perfettamente i sintomi. Per fortuna non é stato niente da ospedale ma comunque mi sono sentito male.

A causa di questo comportamento molto fastidioso della cameriera, sia per la questione del tavolo che per la risposta riguardo l'allergia, me ne sono anche andato senza lasciare alcuna mancia, ma ora, con la notte alle spalle avrei anche diritto ad essere risarcito. Li per li non avevo fatto la recensione poiché volevo comunque evitare di farmi influenzare completamente dal comportamento del personale.

Comunque non chiedo assolutamente niente, fra l'altro il posto sarebbe anche molto bello, ma io di sicuro non ci metterò più piede e lo sconsiglio vivamente a causa della scortesia di questa cameriera e della irresponsabilità con le allergie.

Di solito a Berlino dormo all'ibis di fronte alla stazione centrale e ci sono solo 4 ristoranti in zona. Per me adesso solamente tre.

Voglio rimarcare, qualora qualcuno delle ristorante leggesse, che le allergie sono una cosa seria per chi le soffre e che un comportamento così é...
