I had very negative experience in this place today. Staff was rude. One of my companions was asked for a document to confirm her age, without a clear reasoning (she is 28 years old). When asked why do she needs to provide her passport, we were told that it's their job to confirm age. That was pretty strange, as we did not order any alcohol, and there was to reason to check the age. Never had such experience in any other restaurant. And this was just the beginning of bad experience. When we were called via this electronic device to pick up our food, we was told that it was a mistake and we should go away, and this was told in a pretty rude manner. When device ring second time, and we came for our food, we had to wait like 3-4min, for no clear reason, and we were told not to touch our food. That was pretty weird as well. Coffee was not good, and food was not tasty. I think the products which was used to make Pinsa were out of date, or bad quality, as after eating, 3 of us who ate it, felt pretty bad. The place itself was pretty crowded, and on the tables there was a lot of food leftovers, probably because the place is understaffed for such amount of visitors. In general place was pretty dirty. At the end I paid almost 100EUR, and I felt like I was scammed/robbed. Note that I have visited other Vapiano places in the past, and I always had a good experience, and food was very good, but not here. It's confusing how this place can be so much worse than every other...
Read moreWe landed at this restaurant after as a result of our final stop at the train station. We'd be on a day excursion that took way longer than we'd expected so we were tired, cold (yes, the weather took a sharp unexpected turn) and of course, hungry! Miroslav greeted us warmly at the host podium making eye contact and promising us he'd be right back. It seems other travelers had the same idea in mind. Miroslav very quickly returned in table seating in a nice warm spot. He guided us through the menu and in no time, comfort food landed at our table. I shocked at the first bite, it was tasty, and perfectly seasoned and spiced. Miroslav had asked while taking our orders if we wanted our pasta cooked with fresh garlic and chili. I'd forgotten but was very happy when the dishes arrived! The desserts sounded really good, especially the "Death by Chocolate" but once full, a hot shower and my bed was calling! Hold a dessert to the side for my return Miro! Danke, Danke!
ProTip: In addition to a Negative COVID Test to dine inside, an at the table COVID registry is required. Come prepared or visit the mobile testing pop up downsides prior to checking in at the restaurant host...
Read moreI have no idea if this is even an italian restaurant....even tough it is considered to be an italian place to grab a 'quick' bite....it is not. Making a lasagna is something basic, easy even for a kid. Hell i'm no cook and i make a fresh lasagna a hundred times better then this place in 20 minutes.
It was undercoocked, salty, very oily, the texture was just abominable, and there was almost no bolognaise in it. The cheese had a mostely rubber like feel. The taste...was even worse.
Like i said i'm no cook but lasagna is my all time favorite dish and i eat it in almost every resataurant i can. This is like anti-lasagna.
Also the staff did not explainhow to use the cards. Only upside i can give them is they did not charge my coke....because they where not paying attention to their customer. And because of them not explaining and the fact my girlfriend decided to get pasta instead of lasagna i was already "done" before she could begin. Waiting time for pasta was around 40 minutes. Lasagna was around 10 minutes. Imagine coming here with your family....
Also points minus: they where out of forks. Imagine that: a restaurant with no forks :).
Never coming here...
