Great atmosphere and amazing food. The restaurant is very well decorated with dim lighting and there’s a smoking room in the back for smokers. The food was outstanding, and you get your money’s worth. Delicious Italian dishes and a very good house wine. The fix price includes 2 appetizers, 2 mains, fantastic bread, desert, unlimited sparkling water, a bottle of wine, coffee, and a digestif. We had the vegetarian menu which was a real treat. Pro tip: if you go for dinner definitely skip lunch because it’s a lot of food 😋 The only cons I saw were: -The open kitchen isn’t very well ventilated so if you’re sitting next to it you’ll have the kitchen grease smells. (Not that the food was greasy, but just that classic food-cooking-in-oil smell from big kitchens) -Some of the dishes were slightly over-salted. Overall it was a great experience and the perfect place to celebrate a special occasion such as birthday or anniversary.

Props to the space and the design. Overall aesthetic is just so cool featuring an open kitchen with an industrial vibe and an old school washing sink in the middle of the restaurant. I can’t rave enough about the creativity behind the design of the space. There are even hand sown linen hanging from a laundry line. The details are truly exemplary. I stopped in for lunch with a group and service was great, they were super generous with the wine pours. Unfortunately, the pasta dish was underwhelming. It was quite cold actually but it turns out that was the ricotta perhaps. Nonetheless, presentation looked great with purple sauce and what not but it doesn’t matter if it doesn’t taste good. So overall, cool look but not so good in taste.

A journey! We had dinner in the patio and it was fantastic. The set menu (5 courses) is €35 and just an amazing experience of flavor! You just chill and let the chefs surprise you. I like that there’s a meat + a fish + a vegetarian option, so everyone feels welcome. The bread is SO tasty and the olive oil so yum ☺️ We drank some delicious rose house-wine, super well priced (€14 for 1 liter) If you are looking for a relaxed, fun & tasty dining experience and are willing to submit and be surprised then this is the place!

This is my second time going and as before, it was a wonderful experience start to finish. Tucked away in a peaceful corner of Neukölln (they exist!), it is an incredibly charming restaurant with unique style- they really leaned in to the Lavanderia aesthetic.

The staff are super friendly & accommodating, and the place has a lovely, unpretentious ambience (improved by the open kitchen). The food is relatively simple but made with such love, attention and great ingredients that it always knocks it out of the park as far as eating experiences go.

The courses don't come at breakneck speed, but that is part of the unhurried atmosphere. Relax and enjoy the food. Don't even worry about what to choose, as it's a set menu so all pairings are sure to be a hit.

Hearing that they're having difficulties staying open breaks my heart. They're very passionate about what they do and it shows. It's incredible value for money too (perhaps part of the issue ?) I'll definitely be back to...
