Berlin Tantuni — Restaurant in Berlin

Lovely spot with great service and a very relaxed and friendly atmosphere. I had the Tantuni in bread and was very happy with it, although I think it could even get a little better by making the meat a bit more spicey, therefore I would say 4 stars. When combined with the pepper and lemon, which is served on the side, the sandwich is very flavourful though so overall I am happy to give 5 stars 😊

Edit: Since I just read in another review that the service staff were described as unfriendly, I would like to strongly disagree! The woman who served me was extremely friendly and helpful—one of the reasons I enjoyed my visit so much. The rest of the staff were also pleasant and not disruptive...

One of the best places to have Tantuni and other Turkish specialities like lahmacun in Berlin. The food is very tasty and always fresh but if course the highlight is the Tantuni offered in a baguette or flast bread roll (and on a playe as well). The lamb pieces baguette was also really good. They have fresh cold ayran and tea as well in addition to classic turkish desserts. It is just outside the Ubhan station Boddingstr. and a walking distance from Hermanplatz. I don't think I can eat the average Tantuni in Istanbul again. This restauranf offers top quality Tantuni that's far superior than the ones you can find in Turkey (maybe Mersin, hometown of Tantuni, excluded). Do not waste time with Chicken tantuni, go straight for the beef one. Picked paprika requires some bravery to try, but i always end up eating 15-20 of these everytime I order from here. I wish this place can always keep the quality...
