Dining at Punjab House was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. The warm welcome, the vibrant décor, and the mouthwatering aromas instantly transported us to the heart of Punjab.
Every dish we tried was a masterpiece. The Kulcha was perfectly crisp on the outside and soft inside, pairing beautifully with shahi paneer and hari chutney (authentic pyaz dhaniye wali chutney snot the regular Berlin‘s Indian restaurant chutney). The Chole Bhature were a standout—fluffy, golden bhature with chole that had just the right amount of spice and depth. The Veg Biryani was fragrant, colorful, and bursting with flavor, and the Lachha Parantha was so buttery and flaky it almost stole the show.
Service was outstanding—attentive, friendly, and clearly passionate about the food they serve. Portions were generous, and every bite felt like home-cooked comfort with restaurant finesse.

Read moreThis Indian restaurant is a new addition to Berlin. It is located in the Charlottenburg/Wilmersdorf area that is western side of Berlin. The location is easily accessible by private vehicle or public transport. The restaurant has a big dining space outside in the open and is a good aspect for the summer. The internal space for dining is comparatively small but big enough to accommodate several guests. The food is very authentic no doubt. Everything we ordered were delicious and prepared very fresh. One could really savor the authenticity of the Indian cuisine. The staffs were also very friendly and attentive. The only downside is the ambience of the internal dining space. This requires a bit improvement to give the space more elegance and more appeal. However, given all the positives, the restaurant definitely deserves a visit if one is in search of authentic indian...

I tried their Amritsari Kulcha, and it was such a treat – full of authentic flavors, perfectly crisp on the outside, soft on the inside, and loaded with buttery goodness. At just €7.90, the portion size is surprisingly large; in fact, I don’t think a normal eater could finish one all by themselves 🤣.
The taste reminded me of true Punjabi-style cooking, and it instantly made me feel at home. The staff was very kind and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better.
