Safari Falafel — Restaurant in Berlin

I recently visited Safari Falafel and I must say, it was a huge letdown. I ordered their falafel and halloumi sandwich, hoping for a delightful blend of flavors, but I was sorely disappointed.

First and foremost, the falafel lacked the crispy exterior and flavorful interior that I've come to expect from a good falafel. It was dry and tasted like it had been sitting out for far too long. The halloumi, on the other hand, was overcooked and resembled a rubbery mess. It was far from the delicious, slightly charred texture I was hoping for.

Additionally, the presentation was lackluster. The sandwich looked hastily thrown together, and the overall aesthetic was far from appetizing. It seemed like little care was put into preparing and presenting the food.

To make matters worse, the service was subpar. The staff seemed disinterested and unattentive, which only added to the overall disappointment of the experience.

All in all, I would not recommend Safari Falafel to anyone looking for a satisfying falafel and halloumi sandwich. There are plenty of other places in town that offer a far superior dining experience. Save your money and taste buds for a more worthwhile...

Without question, this is the best Sudanese-style felafel place in Berlin. It’s fresh, always delicious, quick, nice service, good music, and clean inside.

Because it is SO good and almost perfect I will take the time give some tiny bits of feedback, but let it be known that these are small suggestions from Safari which will send it over the edge to being a PERFECT restaurant. First, the salad, while always fresh, is served too cold. Its always too strong a contrast from the warm food and taking a big bite of cold salad in a falafel sandwich isn’t very pleasant. Second, the peanut sauce is also too cold and I believe its kept in the same refrigerated area as the salad. Too cold! Finally, when eating in I would prefer to pay at the same time I order. Now, they ask you to pay after eating which means I order, sit down, get up to get the food, then have to return again to pay. Too much! If I pay when I order it eliminates a trip to the counter. If these small things are changed it will be EVEN BETTER thank...

Nice place. The interior is spacious and clean. The menu is simple and easy to understand and I like their branding. The food was good. Not the best falafel I ever had, but good. I tried a mixed plate that came with falafel, halloumi and Kufta. You’ll get plenty of salad, potatoes, sauces and bread on the side to justify the price of 7€. It’s a good deal and I will come again. 4/5 because 5 for me means you need to check it out, even if you live in another neighborhood. But if you’re in the area, definitely...
