They who don’t give 5 stars are of no honor as this place easily deserves 6 stars. Let me tell you why.

I’ve just visited Japan; I’ve been to Yokohama, Osaka, Kyoto, Fujiyama, and Tokyo. Ever since I’ve returned, my mind is busy forging plans to come back there. Meanwhile, I’ve been looking for opportunities to replicate my gustatory experiences and failed.

Only when I entered SAHOI, I finally found what I have been looking for desperately and missing ever since I had left Japan.

The service is at its peak - I felt welcomed, I felt like a truly welcomed guest.

The food is nothing short of amazing. It’s so delicious, it rivals the best Japan has to offer. I closed my eyes many times in joy, while I couldn’t believe the taste I was experiencing.

The drinks are mindblowing creations and I would also come here just to enjoy a bar experience because of the delicious cocktails and sophisticated selection of genuine sake.

To anybody who’s closer to Berlin than Tokio, you must come here and experience...

What a wonderful place! We were immediately warmly welcomed by the friendly waitress (who gave us exceptionally good advice throughout the evening) and were able to sit down at our own table in no time. We first ordered the tasting menu – a real treat and absolutely reasonable in terms of price. Afterwards we tried the beef tartare and the soft shell crabs, both of which were to die for! Two sakes were recommended to us as an accompaniment, we chose the slightly lighter one. At this point we were already more than happy with the visit - but there was one last surprise: the cocktails are simply amazing! We were told that all the juices, syrups and reductions were made by the bar chef himself and you could taste it! All in all, an enrichment for Berlin and we will come back with friends. Thank you very much for this...

I stopped by to watch the Euro final and had a wonderful experience. We chose to sit outside, which was a perfect spot to enjoy the game. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel very welcome. The food was also excellent, especially the delicious rolls and crunchy tempura prawns which were the highlights. I tried the yuzu lemonade, and it was absolutely refreshing – a perfect drink for a warm day. The overall atmosphere was great, with a lively vibe and a comfortable setting. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a pleasant dining experience while catching a game or simply enjoying good food and drinks. The combination of friendly service, tasty food, and refreshing beverages made for a...

Finally I found an excellent sushi restaurant in Berlin, that is not madly expensive neither not too pretentious. And the food is really, really delicious, and, most importantly, modern and experimental. We had two sashimi, two insideouts, and two fried/grilled dishes. The tuna tataki and the sashimi were the best, but the rolls were excellent too. The fried octopus was good, but I personally don't think the best way to enjoy an octopus is fried, but this is a personal taste otherwise the serving was itself excellent. The scallops in the Beurre Blanche were absolutely amazing. Service was super friendly and welcoming, and easy going. Maybe the location is not as good, it is in the buzzing heart of the city, maybe a bit too buzzing.

Great place, we went there even twice over our stay in Berlin. The quality is amazing, everything was very delicious. We tried rolls with salmon and eel, some sashimi, strawberry mochi and everything was really good. Cocktails are mind blowing ! Defined would visit again. Also, if you hungry and don’t want to spend much, rolls can be good selection! The only one adjustment would be the speed of preparation. We ordered several positions and all they were brought fast and and all together. Because of this we had a feeling that the dinner was faster that we expected. It would be much nicer if the dishes were delivered one after another with small pauses, how it’s used to in similar places.

One of the best places for Japanese cuisine. We came by spontaneously as the restaurant was close to the hotel. From the first minute the staff made you feel welcomed and are so attentive. We had the flower gyoza as a starter, sashimi tasting menu, tempura ebi roll, salmon mango roll and hamachi Aburi Nigiri. Every dish tasted absolutely delicious. You could taste their passion and love for detail, very well balanced flavor, fresh ingredients, perfect presentation. Definitely recommend the tasting menu. We had some Mocktails too, which were very tasty. If I had more stars I would give them more. Will definitely come back when I’m in Berlin.
