We loved the decoration and the atmosphere in the restaurant, though it is a little crowded with tables and no space to move, still a bit romantic. Food is OK, we enjoyed the tiramisu, pasta was not bad, but we tried better and for better price... menu is not cheap. Would give it 4 stars maybe but service is too bad. We had to call the waiter after some long time to bring us the menu, while watching him checking his phone all the time and chatting to others. And even though we were super chill after all, he was quite rude with us, no eye contact, no reaction to us, just leaving our orders on the table each time he approached us. Quite ruined our experience. Unfortunately, I don’t see any reason to come back.

The place Italians take their visiting relatives to show them they are ok in Berlin! Have been here countless times and always the great delicious food you expect. They have a weekly menu consisting of 1 entree, 3-4 (made in-house, fresh) pasta dishes, 1 fish, 1 meat menu item and a desert. From the larger menu, the Antipasti Saporito is highly recommended. If the Parmigiana is on the menu, jump on it. And personally, I would always recommend anything with their home made tomato sauce (ragout or other). And save some room for the Tiramisu 🫶.

Planned for Pomodorino but ended up here which was right next-door. Food was super yummy and definitely worth a visit! Atmosphere is great for date nights too. Can be quite full as we visited on a Friday night. Ordered: tagliatelle with pesto, caponata for starters and drinks Only downside was that they do not accept digital payments at all.

I really want to give more stars, but I just cant.

We were a big bunch of 16 people. A friend has made a reservation by calling the pizzeria Pomodorino next door and they redirected us to another phone number. We ended up got tables here. We understood that there were not enough places in the pizzeria and maybe we can order both pizza and other dishes together. Turn out we were wrong. They just serve the food on their menu which has no pizza.

Antipasti were great. There was a misunderstanding so we ended up got doubled of what we ordered -*- which were too much for us and made us being almost full already. But thanks Gosh, since the Primi and Secondi were really bland! Only German canteen pasta would be worse than the pasta I had on that day T_T (And there was also misunderstanding even with the main dishes.)

Also, we booked for a group of 16. We totally understand that it cant be fitted into one table, but maybe you can arrange it in the way that didnt make us feel like we were 2 separate groups on that day?

The 2 stars are for the nice wine and the friendly service that made us feel a bit better, as well as the kindness for let us had the...

⭐☆☆☆☆ | Disappointing Experience

This place is a nightmare for those who are childfree or unable to have children—baby clothes are literally hanging from the ceiling as decor. The furniture is extremely old, our table was wobbly and visibly dirty from years of use. There are no coat racks, hooks, or a wardrobe, so everyone’s outerwear just piles up on their own chairs, making it very uncomfortable.

The wine by the glass is basically “Château de Tetra Pak,” poured from a beer tap rather than a bottle. Meanwhile, water is somehow more expensive than this so-called wine. We waited ages for our food, only to receive a very basic pasta dish that was nowhere near worth the price. Speaking of prices—the menu is a mess. It’s confusing, the font is barely readable, and prices are written in euro cents, which makes everything even more irritating.

Wouldn’t recommend it. Definitely not...

VERY BAD AND DISAPPOINTING. any restaurant in the surrounding area is better than this one.

all the dishes served to us were not good -

the salad was not seasoned enough and contained an insane amount of olive oil.

house wine had a weird aftertaste

the ravioli was tasteless and its sauce was incredibly bitter as it contained large chunks of lemon peel.

the worst dish was the tuna Linguine, which tasted ok, but contained a rubber band inside it! apparently someone at the kitchen didn't think it was important enough to remove it before cutting the vegetables

the staff was nice and offered us a complementary dessert, but at this point we had not intention to eat anything coming out of that kitchen.

on top off all the prices are quit high in Berlin standards - we paid 46.5 euro for this awful meal! - and there's no...
