Spoonful — Restaurant in Berlin

The latte macchiato ice cream here is the best coffee-flavored ice cream I've had anywhere. Ceylon Zimt and Nougat are also favorites of mine. Excellent quality, inventive flavors, nothing tastes synthetic. I've lived in Berlin for years, and the quality is consistently high, all this time.

Best of all, the milk ice cream and the sorbets here strike a perfect balance between hard and soft; it's not so packed with fat or frozen so hard that you have to chew it. Everything here has a pleasantly light mouthfeel. Refreshing.

Oh — and the price-to-quantity...

For me the best ice cream in Berlin and, dare I say, in all of the countries I’ve ever been to. It’s creamy, rich and not overly sweet like in many other places. The flavors they offer are incredible and the scoops are always a really nice size. I’ve been going there religiously for almost 6 years and I’m never disappointed, weirdly enough I could always get another scoop after eating 2 because I don’t get a “sugar overload”. 100%...

We love the ice cream here but I’m always getting a small ball because I watch out my glucose intake and I don’t want my daughter to be jealous. Today is the first time that the guy at the till told me I’m not allowed to buy a small ball because I’m not a kid? I’m shocked I haven’t encountered this anywhere else. Shocking level of service.
