A Culinary Delight
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Shiso Burger and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. I opted for their signature Shiso Burger, and it truly lived up to the hype. You have the choice of a single or double patty, and I went with the single which was plenty! The marinated tuna patty was cooked to perfection, incredibly flavorful and moist. The accompanying shiso leaf, lettuce, red onion, and cilantro provided a refreshing contrast to the richness of the tuna. The chilli mayo and teriyaki sauce added a delightful kick and umami depth, tying all the elements together beautifully. Honestly, every bite was a burst of deliciousness. For sides, I chose the homemade sweet potato fries and coleslaw. The sweet potato fries were perfectly crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, a perfect complement to the burger. The coleslaw was also a standout, clearly homemade with a vibrant freshness that wasn't overly dressed. To quench my thirst, I ordered the lychee lemonade. It was incredibly refreshing and the subtle sweetness of the lychee was a perfect match for the savory burger. Finally, for dessert, I indulged in the mochi ice cream. It was a delightful way to end the meal, the chewy mochi texture encasing a creamy and flavorful ice cream. Overall, my experience at Shiso Burger was nothing short of 10/10. From the quality of the ingredients to the creative flavor combinations and the perfectly executed dishes, everything was top-notch. I highly recommend Shiso Burger to anyone looking for a unique and delicious burger experience. I will definitely...

At Shiso Burger we have ordered two cheeseburgers. The first one was a large cheeseburger with a Black Angus patty and the second one was the Wagyu version with Kimchi and sweet potato fries as side dishes as well as the Shiso Ice-T and Shiso Lemondae.
The presentation and overall feel of the place is amazing. The burgers looked great. There is a noticeable difference in flavour between the Wagyu and Black Angus patties, as well as clear difference in texture. I can't confirm that they use Wagyu, but it did taste like lower-end Wagyu products I've tried in the past so a huge plus for for that.
The entire composition of the burger itself was great from the pickles to the meat to bun ratio. There is nothing I can add other than ask the people to stop toasting the bun on the outside.
The Kimchi was good, but not great. It was missing the funkiness that good Kimchi brings with it as well the tang. The sweet-potato fries where the biggest disappointment of the meal. While the flavour was great, the fries themselves where a bit sloppy. Maybe a thicker and double fried version would do the trick.
Overall, the experience was great. Staff was friendly and helpful, food was awesome. Definitely one of my favourite Burger...

Either than that, it's a great burger place. I've come back maybe one or two times every week in the past six weeks or so I've been staying in Berlin. The prices are quite low in relation to the quality (although Berlin is a rather cheap city, to be fair) - if you happen to be on a budget, be aware that the burger joint has a lunch special, where they take 2 euros off, if you order a drink, burger, and sides.
The Shiso Burger is quite good, as is the Bulgogi burger. In terms of sides, I usually just get the fries - the coleslaw isn't particularly worth it, in my opinion, as it simply isn't filling enough. I really do plan on trying their twisted potatoes, however.
All in all, I really like this place; it's definitely my preferred place to eat in Berlin. The fact that it's open quite late, coupled with the extremely quick service, is also a major plus, as it means I can drop by over after a concert, grab a quick bite, and be back home at around eleven p.m. Just n.b.: they only accept credit cards from 20...
