Swera - Restaurant & Cocktailbar — Restaurant in Berlin

Went for dinner at Swera - Restaurant & Cocktailbar. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by one of their staff members called Saif. We chose to sit near a window seat, and we were promptly helped with the menu while we were served complimentary papad. A few of the members we met were very, very friendly. Especially Saif, Sajid, and Harsh. Thank you to all three of you for making our dining experience so smooth and easy. Based on their best recommendations, we ordered chicken tikka masala, butter naan, and aloo gobi. They were amazingly tasty. We then also ordered a portion of chicken vindalu, which we didn’t like as the taste was totally deviating from normal chicken vindalu.

Besides the amazing dining experience, the last 20-25 minutes of our time there were spoiled by a discussion between the owner and the staff members. It seemed to be a very argumentative conversation with a loud tone, and to our shock, the owner didn’t feel the need to carry the conversation in a low tone with his staff members. It’s one of the best Indian restaurants in Berlin. Me and my friends tried lot of varieties from there, and the most favorite was mutton Biriyani and prawns Biriyani.

If you like spicy and looking for the real taste of Indian food, I would prefer to try from this Indian restaurant and would recommend to mention the service boy to make it like Desi style.

They also have varieties of cocktails for just 5€ and it’s also the perfect cocktails you can find in Bergmannstraße.

Bergmannstraße is the lively heart of this neighbourhood and is one of the most vibrant in the entire city.

Especially on weekends, the countless passers-by and residents enjoy the range of products at the busy Markthalle and also love browsing through the thrift stores and fashion boutiques.

Waiters not paying attention to your orders. I got the size of my drink wrong, then my vegetarian friend got chicken in his curry when he clearly ordered vegetarian curry. The waiter was also rude for asking to clear our table when I am still eating. The management should teach their staff some basic table etiquette like the position of the knife and fork when you are finished eating. I was annoyed by being asked three times when I was still chewing my food. I handed my card (personally) to pay for the bill but it was given to my friend for the PIN code.
