My god - I have never been treated this rudely anywhere before. I was coming here almost on a daily basis for the last couple of weeks and have never had the pleasure to meet the old lady that works there before. When ordering/thanking her she fully ignored me, only responded when my (white & blonde) boyfriend said anything, even though I was speaking German and he was speaking English with her. Should have been a hint about what's coming I guess.

After I wanted to get my food packed to go she yelled angrily (from less than a meter afar) that I have to pay for the packaging.

I've taken food to go -also later packed when I couldn't finish- 3 times this week from other employees, it was the first time I was told about it so I made the mistake of saying 'oh really, I didn't know'

She started yelling even louder and even after I said that's ok she continued aggressively shouting at me, telling they are serving cheap food and she buys the to-go cups for 0,50 eur each herself(?) - nothing I wanted to hear at that point. I agree that the portions are big and prices are cheap for the size, but what is with this attitude?!

What a disappointment, as other employees have been nice to me here and I've been tipping more than the 50 cents I was yelled at for asking...

Ich bin auf dieses Restaurant durch eine Empfehlung eines Freundes gestoßen. Es ist ein eher schlichtes Lokal mit vielen Stammgästen aus der Umgebung und wirklich günstigen Preisen. Ich war gespannt, dort zu essen, aber leider war meine Erfahrung alles andere als positiv.

Schon beim Betreten des Restaurants wurde ich sehr unfreundlich empfangen. Die Dame, die mich bediente, schaute mich mit einem mürrischen Gesichtsausdruck an, war extrem distanziert und wirkte fast schon unhöflich – ohne ersichtlichen Grund. Vielleicht hatte sie einfach einen schlechten Tag, wer weiß.

Ich bestellte ein Gericht mit Reis, Curry, Kokoscreme, Erdnüssen, Gemüse und Hähnchen. Vorher fragte ich nach einer Empfehlung, welche Fleischsorte am besten zu diesem Gericht passen würde. In Deutschland habe ich oft die Erfahrung gemacht, dass Bedienungen keine klare Empfehlung geben wollen, sondern nur sagen: „Das hängt davon ab, was Sie mögen.“ Ich verstehe natürlich, dass die Entscheidung letztendlich bei mir liegt, aber ich hätte mir einfach eine Einschätzung gewünscht. Die Dame weigerte sich jedoch völlig, mir eine Empfehlung zu geben.

Dann kam das Essen – und leider war auch das enttäuschend. Der Reis war trocken und geschmacklos. Ich versuchte, mit Sojasoße nachzuhelfen, aber selbst diese hatte kaum Aroma, möglicherweise von minderer Qualität. Die Erdnusssauce war unangenehm süß, vermutlich mit günstiger Erdnussbutter zubereitet. Ich verstehe, dass die niedrigen Preise des Lokals günstige Zutaten erfordern, aber das rechtfertigt nicht eine so schwache Qualität.

Leider war mein Besuch hier eine Enttäuschung – sowohl beim Service als auch beim Essen....

Phohs, soups, buns (noodles), grilled meats and tofu, glass noodle soups and courses, and rice courses based on green or red curries v, peanut, mango, or lemongrass sauces. Check out the cool drinks imported from asia as well. Food is very moderately priced - probably the most bang for your euros you care for tasty wholesome food. It's is vegan-friendly as well. There's an English menu, but the local host did not speak a word in English, so you will need help from some of the local in if you...
