The Vegan Monkey — Restaurant in Berlin

I never review stuff, but I literally was forced to for this establishment. Because it was SO good.

I ordered through Wolt and it was delivered in the best delivery packaging I have ever gotten. The bottom of the pizza box was lined with aluminum foil to keep it warm and the box also had some cool anime/chibi sticker on it as well as a friendly "Guten Appetit" written on it.

Oh and btw it was also one of the best delivery foods I've ever eaten. I had the Sake/Salmon Pizza and the Oyako Rice and both tasted great. More surprisingly they tasted just like I'd imagine it to taste in the actual restaurant.

If you do not know what to order and are somewhere near Neukoelln/Kreuzberg just order anything from here. I doubt you...

Product is not well balanced. One pizza was to heavy on the cheese. The other was not crispy enough to hold the weight of its slice.

The curry was an interesting take but it was lacking flavor. Japanese curry has a mild but punchy taste. That was not given.

Technically a good and interesting concept but the outcome is not satisfying.

The pizza business in Berlin is hard and the competition is fierce.

Four stars is generous. The staff is so friendly and the prices good (9,50 to 12 euros for a pizza) I wish the food was better. The chicken curry pizza tasted terrific but on a slice there was literally one piece of broccoli atop the sauce and nothing else. Bulgogi pizza was very good, mushroom a favorite, and I liked salmon miso while my friends did not. The crust is sad and limp. It's interesting but right now not good enough for a...
