THRONBURGER — Restaurant in Berlin

Thronburger did not disappoint from the reviews and pictures shared on Google Maps. The menu is extensive with multiple beef, chicken and vegan burger options, from simple smash burger with limited additions, through to the ultimate Frankfurter and Thronburger with a whole stack of pickles, cheese, sauces and more.

Pricing is very competitive, with an offer of Fries and Soft Drink for +5 Euros when added to a burger! The burgers themselves were hot, delivered quickly, at the same time, with the fries - this was a table of 5 with curly fries, sweet potato fries, regular fries, onion rings and five different burgers!

My burger was possibly the best I have ever tasted for the overall combination of flavours - roasted vegetables, melted halloumi, carefully stacked on a burger, placed in a bun and skewered to keep it all together!

Note the payments are cash only, but there is an ATM only 10-15m along the street, so that's not a problem. Service was friendly and the atmosphere indoors and outdoors was very friendly, brightly lit on a busy street that is filled with nightlife.

Thoroughly recommend, it's easy to get there from Ostkreuz station or the trams that run past the end of the street, don't just read this...

Overall a really good experience! Both me and my friend were happy with our food. I got a burger and fries and it was super good, not like the best burger in my life, but super delish! The curly fries my friend had were awesome. A little annoying thing is when we finished our food, the server took our drinks and she still had half her drink left, by the time we noticed he was already gone… so that was not ideal.

Not pictured but we also got the mozzarella sticks, they were great, but definitely needed more cheese on the inside, to get the stringy melted cheese effect to make it perfect.

It was my first time here today. We were 6 people and tried 6 different items, mostly Menus. Burgers were really tasty, also one hotdog. I tried the fried Halloumi variant in veggie burgers. The sauce, and the bread (Döner sandwich like) went very well together. If I am around Ostkreuz, I will definitely try burgers here again. My reason for choosing the restaurant today was its highest rating on the street and it was well rated. The sitting place was a bit tight but the taste of the food outweighs all of these missing...
