Best coffee experience I've had in Berlin so far. Especially love their espresso macchiato. They hit the right balance of creaminess and powerful coffee taste, without a hint of bitterness. The flat white was a bit weak for my taste, but it's very much a matter of preference.
Their open-face sandwiches (MouseTraps) are also excellent - fresh, well-presented, and perfect for breakfast/brunch. Really impressive considering their focus is on the coffee.
The environment of the shop is also nice. It's a tight space, but it's still coworking-friendly, there's some outdoor seating, and the shop faces a park across the street (they'll even let you take a coffee there if you ask nicely and promise to bring the cup back).
Of course you pay for the premium experience - 3.50 EUR for a macchiato, 4.50 EUR for a flat white - but you get the quality you pay for.
Already been three times since discovering them, and plan to...
Read moreIâve been a regular at Townmouse for a couple of years now. Their coffee is amazing and consistently outstanding. Every cup is made with care, precision, and an obvious passion for the craft. Whether itâs a flat white, cappuccino , or filter, itâs clear they truly know what theyâre doing. The food is just as thoughtful: fresh, seasonal, and always delicious, with a menu that feels curated rather than thrown together.(Although I wish you had even more vegan options).
What makes Townmouse even more special is the atmosphere. Sebastian and his team are always warm, welcoming, and professional. You can tell they care about their customers and the experience they create. Itâs the kind of place where you feel known and appreciated, and the vibe is calm and grounded.
In short: Townmouse is not just my favorite cafĂ© in Berlinâitâs my favorite cafĂ©, period. If you care about great coffee, good food, and kind people, this...
Read moreOn a mission to try more brunch spots in the city, I decided that Town Mouse Coffee was my next location. A small but cute spot that is divided into two spaces (no laptop / laptop rooms). Upon arrival, there was one table a bit awkwardly under the coffee machine. I settled down, and went to ask for a menu and was told to wait. Iâll say this here and not again: the staff were quite cold and uppity. The barista wasnât very welcoming, and the server who gave me my food semi-dropped the plate on the table without even a glance in my direction. Apart from this element, everything else was lovely. The coffee (cortado) was flavourful and hot, and the blue cheese mousetrap toast was out of this world amazing. I would definitely return with friends to keep a more pleasant atmosphere, and try more food. Slightly on the pricier side, but that is reflected in the quality of the products....
