Trattoria Acquolina — Restaurant in Berlin

I've been coming to this lovely little place for YEARS! When I lived in the area I would go at least once a week, and when my family was visiting we would go every evening :))

The food is great! Fresh ingredients and fantastic portion sizes. The pizzas - well the pizzas, they are just so delicious and flavourful. It is thin curst, so you really get a taste of the ingredients and not just full of bread. Even the Pizza Marina without cheese is great - and if that is a great pizza you know the rest is going to be even greater. You can also expect a pizza that is almost bigger than the plate it comes on!

I'm not longer a meat eater, but I will always still recommend the beautifully firm, and cheesy lasagne, as well as the spaghetti carbonara. In general, just anything from their menu really :)) and the prices - well lets just say I'm amazed every time about how little money I'm throwing down for the meals and drinks here. Great value for money!!!

The food is of course 1 of the reasons I keep coming back, but I think the main one is because of the friendly, lovely, and smiling staff. Since day 1 they've made me, my family and friends feel so welcomed - and they are always happy to see us and catch up - and we are always happy to see them. This one is a very authentic italian pizzeria. The pizza from this pizzeria is delicious. The restaurant is located in wilmersdorf area of Berlin which is south west part of Berlin. The nearest metro (U Bahn) or local train ( S Bahn) station is Heidelberger platz. The restaurant is 5 mins walk from the metro station and 7 mins walk from local train station. The restaurant is mostly occupied at the evening time. This pizzeria is famous in this area. The restaurant also offers takeaway. You can go there and order you pizza and it will be ready to be picked in 10-15 mins. The quality of pizza is very high as mentioned before. Most of the staffs are italian and you will be able to notice this when you notice them talking among them in italian language. They are very friendly and nice. They have both indoor as well as outdoor seating arrangements. In summer time and on warm days, its definitey pleasant to be sitting outside while savoring your italian food but inside is also very enjoyable. Overall the atmosphere inside as well as outside the restaurant is very pleasant. Other food items like pasta and other italian dishes served here are also aithentic.
