Trattoria Gusto — Restaurant in Berlin

Our favorite neighborhood restaurant. It's authentic Italian & most of the staff are Italian too. If they don't show it to you, always ask for the specials board & ask them to explain because it is written only in Italian.

We always order the same thing because they really are the best:

Pizza margherita Salami picante TAGLIONI AL TARTUFO (the best!!!) our friends loved their Carbonara

With a carafe of white wine. For dessert the tiramisu & Tartufo al Cioccolato didn't disappoint. When we go for lunch we also love to order the Affogato.

I removed one star because if sit deep inside (we had to because we needed a bigger table & didn't want to breath in smoke outside) it's hard to call the attention of the waitstaff. And our wait staff was a grumpy & not very accommodating.

We asked if they could slice the pizzas because we were sharing & he curtly refused & told us we had knives. We had never experienced this before. The other servers aren't as rude. But we go back for our favorites....

I ordered 3 pizzas to go, they got 2 of them wrong, so I went back and they had to make one from scratch and adjust the other. They got it wrong again because they just put all of the ingredients on the new pizza...In 20 years of ordering pizza, this has never happened to me before! As I asked the cook, he took a hand full of olives and clashed them on my pizza and on the other hand he had onions while asking me if I wanted them raw. I seriously felt threatened, so I reminded him that I had been waiting for 40 min, gave the order twice - they got it wrong TWICE - and had paid for the food, then I just left, shocked! DEFINITELY...

Ich war vor 8 Jahren das letzte Mal hier, damals war ich Stammkundin und speiste am liebsten Tagliatelle Tartufo dazu etwas Fleisch, bereits beim letzten Mal, war das Fleisch sauer. Ich bat um Klärung und es wurde mir eingepackt und auf den Tisch gestellt : " Hier, für den Hund!" Ich war geschockt und meinte nur noch, "sowas" bekommt nicht mal mein Hund.

Dann heute bin ich auf dieses Restaurant ausgewichen, weil mein Vater nicht gut laufen kann. Und dachte mir, nach all den Jahren und schönem Umbau, geben wir dem Laden noch eine Chance. Die letzte wie sich leider zeigte und ich kann es nicht verstehen.....

Der Service war unfreundlich und irgendwie völlig unwissend, planlos in Wilmersdorf.... Dachte ich einfach.... Aber dann zum Schluss wurde er dann netter, wahrscheinlich als er bemerkt hat, daß ich wohl den Unterschied zwischen Pizza Gouda und echtem Parmesan kenne.. (bitte deckt euren Käse ab)

Ich frage mich wieso Menschen so zu anderen sein können, was sie sich denken und was da überhaupt sonst so für Menschen verkehren, woran wird hier bemessen, ob man zu jemand freundlich ist????

An dieser Stelle möchte ich eines loswerden, ich kenne Tartufo Nudeln im Parmesanleib geschwenkt, hier gab es nicht mal richtigen Parmesan dazu. Nudeln einfach in 500ml Öl gebadet. Trüffel auch nicht ganz frisch. Ich war sehr...
