Trattoria Rathaus Piazza — Restaurant in Berlin

Very good food, perfect trattoria! It was raining and started looking for a place where to eat close to my Airbnb. I was walking by this place and I noticed atmosphere inside. I looked it up in google and it only has few comments the place. But I took the chance and stepped in. Asked for a table for one, did not have but immediately arranged something. Simona is quick and gentle with people. And I Loved it! Good wine by glass, Italian. Fresh pasta, fresh mozzarella. A hiden pleace. Do not expect much for interior design. Who knows what’s a Trattoria will understand. And if you like Italian food, you’ll love it! Always ask what the dish of the day! I had my tortellini with truffle and was really good!...

I have been here three times. The first time was couple of years ago and I actually felt cosy, food was good, service was excellent. Then in summer, all good. Last week, we went for dinner and we unfortunately felt that many things have changed... As we were eating there were fruit flies surrounding us all the time (it was around 2 degree outside), we were so annoyed. Then the service.. When we arrived the waitress did not greet, smile nor in our opinion show the least hospitality, she simply pointed a table. When she came to take the order we were not ready yet, we don't think we should be treated with annoying expression... All in all, sorry, I will not come back. I could keep an eye close for bad service but not for...

I almost walked by this place. The small frontage disappeared on a street full of banal store fronts. The sandwich board caught my eye and so did the very good prices. I expected a fast food takeaway and was surprised to find a very charming, small, dark, little trattoria. Vintage Gründerzeit tiles on the walls and floor, red gingham tablecloths and candles. Large greasy bottles of olive oil on the tables. Very cozy. I had lasagna. It was not to my liking as they used a cream tomato sauce but it was meaty and properly prepared. The service was fast and efficient but, unfortunately, very unfriendly. No hello. No goodbye. No thank you. No thank"guten appetit". Nevertheless, I liked the place so much that I intend to...
