I'm really torn about how to review this place. On one hand, I love cats, and it's wonderful to see how here the cats truly feel at home — they're respected and not treated like display items. They have their own spaces (even if all indoors), and the staff is very attentive in making sure no customer disturbs the cats. That’s a big plus. Another thing I appreciate is the rule against children under 10. It's fair — kids can unintentionally hurt animals or get hurt themselves. So all those moms who complain and leave bad reviews are either 1) not respecting the animals, or 2) not respecting their own kids. Either way, watching them get turned away at the entrance like it’s the Berghain is honestly a bit satisfying! (Just kidding... sort of!)

Now for the downsides: the sandwiches? How can you call something a “sandwich” on the menu and then serve me a basic toast made with store-bought bread and three sad chunks of unpeeled cucumber and carrot? For €8.90? And nearly €5 for four slices of lemon and ginger? I'd be embarrassed to serve that to a guest at home, let alone charge for it.

So, do I recommend this place? Yes — if you understand cats (if you expect them to run up to you as you walk in, you don’t). Maybe just order a slice of cake. No — if you're looking for a decent savory meal. Check the photos and see...

my friends and I were very excited to come across this place but was very disappointed!!

The staff is absolutely rude, no charisma or charm whatsoever. It feels like they want you to leave right as you enter the door.

We had come as a group of friends (one friend came 15 minutes later) and had collectively ordered around 20 euros worth of drinks & food.

One friend hasnt ordered anything (again we were a group of 3 and had ordered around 20 euros already) and due to that the owner had come to our table very aggressively asking if we wanted anything else, we politely declined and said we would leave soon, and the owner very rudely snapped back “get up and pay then” essentially kicking us out. We hadn’t even finished what was ordered!! My friend went up to pay and asked; well can I finish my drink and another worker turned around and said “what kind of question is that” We had even tipped them! Wow!

What kind of service is this? If you can’t interact with people properly and politely then don’t open up a cafe! The only reason I am giving 2 stars is because the cats were cute. If the cats weren’t there I’d...

The cats are cute but, sadly, the owner is really rude.

For context, I’ve visited the cafe before; me and a friend went in for drinks and food, and enjoyed the company of the cats for a couple of hours.

Today, I walked past the cafe with another friend. I walked my friend up to the window just to show her that it was a cat cafe.

The owner saw us and beckoned us to go in. When we made eye contact and it was clear that we weren’t going in, she started making rude hand gestures, essentially signaling that we should get lost. All of this happened within the span of 10 seconds.

We’re also Asians so I’m not sure how much of this is racially motivated. (Would she shoo 2 white girls away?)

I understand that she’s probably sick of passersby cooing at the cats, and she needs patrons to buy food and drinks from the cafe. But such behaviour is unwarranted, and ensure that I’ll never patronize this...

Lovely people working here and a small cozy place. The workers speak English perfectly fine and there’s an English version of the menu, rules and descriptions of the cats available. I recommend getting a table reservation beforehand as there was many people wanting to visit here. Food was pretty expensive, but fairly good. We found however that many guests didn’t follow the rules that were set in the menu and were disturbing the cats and pushing their phones in their faces while they slept, to the point where the cats either ran away or hit their paws at the guests. The workers only called this behavior out when they tried petting one of the more shy cats that don’t like pets, but the guests still didn’t listen. I think the workers should be more strict about these rules as the cats looked very uncomfortable when disturbed in this way.

Extremely surprised by this cat cafe! My first impression was - WoW! Such a spacious ,colourful and clean place! There was not even a hint of a litter smell or balls of hair on the furnitures/chairs and the floor. Very friendly staff and the sandwiches and teas we ordered were the perfect lunch we needed, so tasty and presented really nicely! There is a menu in English which was really helpful! I was really happy to be allowed by the owner to pick up the ginger kitty Ali ( most cat cafes dont allow picking up the cats) . Most of the kitties were sleeping hidden somewhere in their baskets on the walls, but few were running around and seems very healthy and their coats were well groomed and soft. Deffinitely will visit again once we're in Berlin . Thank you for the lovely experience in Your cat cafe.
