HORRIBLE!!! Seriously the most abysmal "Italian" meal I've ever had. And service was absolutely the worst and rudest. Don't bother going here unless it's the only thing open. Even then I'd order McDonald's on Uber Eats before going here again. The only thing nice about it is it's on the canal. They haven't even bothered to get proper lighting for their outdoor seating. And they're so unprofessional and concerned with the drama in their personal lives you could probably just get up after your meal and walk out without paying any they'd never notice. The side salad was decent, but just iceberg lettuce and you don't get a choice of dressing 🤷🏽. The meal Spaghetti and fried entrecôte was barely edible and the chef used the parsley as a main ingredient rather than garnish which made the whole dish taste funky. When I asked about dessert about 25m before they were closing the server annoyingly said the kitchen was closed. To which I asked, "Oh is the kitchen closed already I thought you were open for another 25m?, I was really hoping for dessert..." She begrudgingly handed me a menu. Another server told her kitchen is closed as she handed me the menu. They discussed in German that I had asked for dessert. Then I asked to clarify is the kitchen closed or not? The most senior server said yes the kitchen was closed. So said " ok that's what I asked" and I gave back the menu. My server snatched it away and walked off in a huff. As I sat and finished the wine I had, which again was the only decent part of the meal - the senior server said " if you want tiramisu I can make for you!?" 🤦🏽 I just said No and finished my wine. Then even with only 4 tables seated in the whole place I had to ask twice for my check. Will never go back here and regardless of pics... If a restaurant rating is below 4.0 on Google -...

I came here because an American friend visiting wanted to come here. I read the other reviews and decided to still give it a try. The location of the venue is actually nice. In the summer, I am sure it will have more charm, especially if you get to sit outside close the the water. We came in and were greeted by the friendly staff. We choose our own table as the place was not full. We sat next to the glass front and had a view of the water and the lights outside and it was cozy even for a cold windy evening in Berlin. The service is friendly, but neither the staff nor the menu are authentic. The staff were not Italian and the menu which had the typical Italian antipasti, pastas and pizza dishes included other dishes which were German and other cuisine related. We got a small plate of black and green olives and some bread. We ordered the Mango Sekt which was interesting. My friend ordered the tagliatelle with Shrimps and I decided to stick with the pizza with shrimps. The pizza was around 14€ was not the best of pizza. The plate of my friend seemed rich and there was way to much sauce. The two rest-rooms were out of order, so I used the wheelchair one. It was fine but I was not sure about the lock. You can pay with cash or card. We were offered free espresso or grappa after paying but we did not go for either. If you are looking for a true Italian food, I would NOT recommend the place. If you are looking for a cosy place to have dinner you can give the place a try. I would not invite my first date there though, unless I needed a quite a place! I am sorry, I did not take pictures. If you found my review helpful, kindly press the like button...

I must say that my trip to Berlin has taught me that a google review score doesn’t reflect what a restaurant really deserves in score, and this place is one of those examples. The food is fantastic! And I’ve eaten in many authentic places in Italy, so I know what’s a good Italian food is like. Sure, this isn’t extraordinary, but it is very well prepared, especially by German standards, and I don’t want to offend anyone, this is just what my personal experience has taught me. The ravioli was actually perfect, despite what I have said before. The wine was served in a bottle - I liked that. Spaghetti bolognese was very good. The pizza Napolitana was very very good. The cocktails were good for the price. Service was exceptional! Finally! It isn’t a common thing to find a decent service in Berlin unfortunately, you know… Atmosphere and location by the river is exceptional! Reminds a bit of Venice, that’s what actually lured us in;) so eat there and you won’t be disappointed.

(English tourists) The restaurant has a lovely riverside setting, with plenty of outdoor seating and an open-fronted restaurant in the summer. The menu was varied, certainly not strictly or authentically Italian but with a good array of delicious-sounding options. I had the antipasti as a starter, which was just OK - it could do with a bit more seasoning. The mains, however, were brilliant all round the table. Pizzas, pastas, meat, chips, all cooked well with nice accompaniments. Certainly a good location for a family or couple looking for a summer night's dinner in the area.

A wonderful restaurant next to the river in a beautiful location. We went to this lovely restaurant on Christmas day. The prices are reasonable, the food came at a reasonable time, the portions were normal and filling and the food was excellent in taste and presentation. The staff spoke fluent English and they were polite, the atmosphere was wonderful, and the place was clean. This restaurant is a hidden gem where everyone must visit for good Italian food. This is one of the sweet memories we will take back home with us from our visit in Berlin. Totally recommend..
