A museum offering a comprehensive introduction to the history of Berlin. The order of the rooms can feel a bit random but overall it is quite informative, especially when using the audio guide. I especially liked the interactive elements (such as the smelling sections, the photography curation corner, the blackboard, map puzzle, etc.). Also appreciate the critical captions about the unfavorable parts of history, which helps the viewer interpret the past through an analytical lens (for example, certain controversial words were crossed out and accompanied by a note explaining why). Entry for students is free and staff is very kind and friendly! 👍🏼

**: Gender

Warum?

It's so upsetting to go into a museum and learn little to nothing interesting. Many, many overused phrases that could be applied to any big city. There was a lack of air conditioning in August, and the two fans on the upper floor (the hottest one) were all that could be expected while continuing to sweat. Another frustrating issue was that the audio description, even though advertised as being in both English and German, only played in German. It was incredibly boring; I decided to leave the museum after 20 minutes of trying in vain to learn something new. The staff...
