(This is a bar-only review, since we did not stay at the hotel) I visited the lobby bar on a recommendation, specifically, the Gin&Tonic menu. Interior is modern and tasteful - you can judge for yourself. Bar was just about to receive the first evening guests and became decently busy after fifteen or so minutes. Since we were on a tight schedule I only managed one drink, but would have definitely stayed for longer otherwise! The drink itself was on-point, served in proper glassware and garnished accordingly. I had been a bit sceptical since I knew their offer of tonics is limited (for a gin themed bar) but that did not prove to be the case - unflavoured tonics such as TH/FT indeed do match the concept of a vast, quality gin offer. Swift service was provided by a talented bartendress Maria, who was happy to explain finer details and ready to answer not-so-regular questions about their gin offer. She even managed to keep meaningful conversations with guests seated at the bar while solo-serving the lounge tables(!) As mentioned, we were not able to stay long enough to see the bar in it’s full swing, but our visit had been a very pleasant experience overall.

We stayed at Motel One Berlin-Spittelmarkt for a few days and really enjoyed our stay. The location is fantastic — so many major sights are within walking distance, which made exploring Berlin super easy. The rooms are very quiet (which we really appreciated after long days out!), and everything was clean and well-kept. We also liked the hotel bar — a nice spot to relax in the evening — and the lobby has a cozy, stylish vibe that makes it a great place to hang out. The only downside was the breakfast. It’s not bad, but it would have been nice to have some hot options in the buffet. All in all, though, we’d definitely recommend Motel One Spittelmarkt. It’s a solid choice for a comfortable and well-located stay in Berlin.

Very nice hotel! Very friendly and helpful staff! Small rooms but very cosy and clean. 👍 Shower and hand wash included. Choice between room with a view or to the backyard. Busy street but windows are very good, quiet. Breakfast was good but more for average eater…meaning lots of Gluten, cold cuts and and milk choices…I would prefer scrambled egg with avocado, fruit and linseed…but well. 😊 TIPP: across the street is a small green bowl sth coffe shop, where I had a huge scrambled egg with avocado! 🙏recommended!😀 Hotel with Design and a good price. I like it!

I stayed at Motel One Berlin - Spittelmarkt for 2 nights in mid-June. There were four of us. We went to Germany for Euro 24, and Berlin was the first stop.| |The hotel location was convenient, with a metro station near the hotel. It was easy for us to travel by metro to other parts of the city, including the Olympic Stadium. My room was clean and tidy. It was not big, but was functional enough for a short stay. The continental breakfast at the lobby level was of good quality. After dinner, I had drinks at the hotel bar next to the reception. Next to the bar, there was a large TV that showed live matches. It was a good spot to finish the day. All in all, a comfortable stay at Central Berlin at a reasonable price.| |The staff members were friendly and helpful. Everyone whom I came across spoke fluent English. I should particularly mention Sepehr (who worked at the reception in the evening of 15 June). I approached him on how to pay a parking penalty ticket issued to our rental car. Sepehr gave me very helpful assistance in taking care...

A pretty convenient hotel in the centre of Berlin. It has clean rooms, new furniture, good wifi speed and air conditioning in the rooms. Basics are very good. Definitely a good choice for short trips.

What's missing is details. You don't have ventilation in the bathroom. Thus, you need to be finished with the stuff which needs mirror access, because it will probably be covered with steam afterwards. Some rooms have a window in the bathroom, which is a good thing for not having artificial light, but the window has no protection whatsoever and aims towards an office building. So, might not be cool for everybody. In the room itself, it's either privacy or artificial light. There are only curtains, which force you to turn on the lights. You can't enjoy daylight in your room. I'm not expecting more than these (like bag for dirty clothes, flip flops for the room, etc.), since it's not a luxury hotel. These are only the crucial parts missing.

But all in all, a good hotel to stay. If the issues are solved, it's definitely a 5...
