I have seen IL Secondo a lot but never dined in. Based on Google reviews, I gave a try, which was really great. Staff are very friendly and very accomodating. I ordered a fish plate and didn't want to have salmon. They excluded salmon but put more of other fish filet for me. The best highlight was garlic oil and chil oil. We will surely come back for other dishes

Sehr eindrucksvoll, heute mit Live Musik, Disnay Lòpez, sehr fein..... Bin gespannt beim nächsten Mal Paella, jetzt Tapas, sehr überzeugend. Und: zu Flamenco live bin ich auch neugierig......

We went there today and it was wonderful! The staff is extremely friendly and professional. Smiling and attentive to your desires. I ordered pasta and my friend ordered entrecôte. The food came fast despite the restaurant was busy and it was excellent and tasty. We will definitely come back!

Leider kann ich die sehr guten Bewertungen zumindest in Bezug auf das Essen nicht uneingeschränkt teilen. Der Service war sehr gut und das Ambiente gut. Der Hauswein war in Ordnung. Das Essen war leider nicht so gut: der gemischte Salat für 9 Euro war ein übersichtlicher Teller, der im wesentlichen aus Eisbergsalat bestand, welcher in einem 08/15 Supermarkt Dressing schwamm. Da würde ich bei einem italienischen Restaurant etwas anderes erwarten. Die Lasagne für knapp 14 Euro war ein Trauerspiel. Keine Bechamelsauce in der Lasagne (ok, kann man machen) und eine Tomatensauce, die aus Dosentomaten bestand, die über die Lasagne gekippt und dann im schön anzusehenden Tontopf in den Ofen gestellt und erhitzt wurde. Schmeckt dann halt nach warmen Dosentomaten und sonst nichts. Das einzig Positive: es wurde wenigstens nicht versucht, den Mangel an Geschmack durch riesige Mengen Käse zu kaschieren. Die anderen Gerichte würde ich als OK bezeichnen, aber im Verhältnis zum Preis auch nur durchschnittlich. Irgendwie schade, denn das Restaurant und die Leute waren sehr nett. Möglicherweise hat da der Koch gewechselt oder einfach einen...
