PETER PANE Burgergrill & Bar — Restaurant in Binz

Ma solo io non ho digerito niente? 🤔 I was incredibly surprised by the amount of positive reviews of the place and decided to dine at this restaurant twice during my staying in Binz. First negative point: tremendous waiting time to get the food served: one hour and a half, both times! Drinks were served within 20 minutes, but in the overall waiting time, it looks a cheap trick to make clients order for more drinks. No matter how many people were present and if they were already eating, the waiting time was simply unacceptable, considering that this chain still offers nothing but another version of Fast-Food courses. Third point: quality of drinks and food. Our first order was made of: four drinks, two meat burgers, one big portion fries. Our second order was made of four drink, two vegetarian burgers and one portion of onion rings. Sourdough bread and classic brioche were the type of bread we chose. Sodas and cocktails are half filled with ice. Burgers were not easy to digest, but most of all bread and fries....

Was there some weeks ago looking forward to enjoy a tasty hamburger. We got a table (2 people) and had to wait for our meal and hour and almost a half!! After an hour we asked for some apeticers as I was pregnant and extremely hungry. Finally the apeticers came and so the hamburgers, we asked for the Angus meat update as well as a "menu pack" that included a cocktail and crispy chips for an extra money. The Angus burger was meh, regular but good beef would be better. Besides being deceiving for the meal service and the plain regular taste of the burgers, we were surprised to have such a huge bill!! The apeticers que asked for after an hour and that we did complaining for waiting so long and being extremely hungry were not exactly for free, the crispy chips we ordered were not included in the "menu pack". Final result? A bill of 60€ for a 2 people dinner in a quite regular burger place. The staff was always nice, but it's a very overpriced and...

Food was okay but there was a male waiter that made the whole lunch really unpleasant. One thing is joking and being chatty with the customers, another entire different thing is being so loud that other customers were staring at him (so it was not only me who found this quite annoying). On top of that, this guy was not following any covid safety measures - he was wearing a bandana as mask and most of the time it was not covering his mouth and nose. Also being quite flirty (to the point of being cringy) to some ladies-only table and sitting with them. Very unprofessional. It's a pity that most of my review is dominated by this fact, the food was OK and tasty, and the other waiters were thankfully much more professional and nice than this guy. Never seen this...
