Villa Ruscha was an amazing find right on the beach promenade in the lovely town of Binz, on Rugen Island in Northeastern Germany. The rooms were a bit pricey, at 100 euros per night, but I think the quality we got for that amount was totally worth it. The room was absolutely beautiful and contained a full kitchen, as well as a large bathroom and a well-decorated quaint bedroom overlooking the beach and whole promenade, with a pretty big balcony to sit on and stare at the passers-by. I think that officially Villa Rushca is not a "hotel" per se, but rather a guest house, or whatever definition they have for it in Germany, but your experience as a guest is really undistinguishable from staying at a hotel. It looks like a hotel, acts like a hotel and provides all a hotel would, so...||The staff only consisted of one woman at the front desk, who didn't speak English, but she was incredibly helpful and friendly and let us do our desperately needed laundry for free!, even though this wasn't really included in the hotel price. The house had about 10 rooms, I would guess, and they all seemed to have excellent views. Even looking out the back side would've been pretty because the street was filled with beautiful white turn-of-the-century mansions typical of northern coastal germany. ||Our whole stay in Binz was great (4 days) and Villa Ruscha made it even more so. If you don't need the spa treatments and massages, you can stay at a place like Villa Ruscha for less money and still have an excellent room and experience. Hope the photos help you decide! ||(for review confirmation purposes, Villa Ruscha's brochure says it is at Strandpromenade 31, 18609 Ostseebad Binz, telephone: +49 038393, website:...
