⭐️⭐️⭐️ WASSERSCHOUT RESTAURANT in BREMERHAVEN. HISTORY : The meaning WASSERSCHOUT originally comes from the Netherlands ( WATERSCHOUT ) for the first time in 1643 . Already founded in 1691 in HAMBURG ( GERMANY ) . In 1873 the WASSERSCHOUT became the SEAMAN'S SAINT. With the SEAMAN'S CERTIFICATE, a directory and register of all citizens of a city who went to sea were created and administered for the first time. Disputes were settled. The payment (HEUER) monitors ect. Today's building served the lock keepers and their families as office and living quarters. The first inner lock in Bremerhaven around 1830 was filled up in 1933. In the mid 1970s the beautiful building became a restaurant. There are currently around 40 guest spaces on the ground floor. On the upper floor there is a guest room for celebrations. The landlords have set up this restaurant with a lot of HEART & INTELLIGENCE. Just a few steps and YOU are very welcome. The menu is without gold . But honest and is always updated. With grandma and grandpa we ordered rum steak / schnitzel with really homemade fries and some fresh side dishes. A compliment to the kitchen. You can expect very attentive hosts and fresh meals. In the SEESTADT BREMERHAFEN, the plates are always full. It tasted really, really good. We felt very comfortable . A spacious free parking lot is available for guests arriving by car. I would like to give it 4.5. A very nice restaurant and a-must-go-to when you're in town. We went there with no expectations and were pleasantly surprised. We hadn't booked a table so we had to sit outside (book a table if you want to be sure to sit inside). The waitress was nice and helpful. They don't have many beers to choose from. Wir waren gestern zum Essen dort mit unserer Enkelin. Wir wurden empfangen mit den Worten ‚drinnen ist alles besetzt‘. So entschlossen wir uns, draußen zu essen. Lecker Hausmannskost sollte es geben. Nun ja, leider fanden es die Wespen scheinbar auch lecker. Normal essen war leider nicht möglich. Teilweise 3 der ungebetenen Gäste ließen sich auf unserem Essen nieder, so dass ein entspanntes Essen oder Trinken gar nicht möglich war. Völlig entnervt fragten wir, ob wir wenigstens kurz drinnen zu Ende essen könnten. Nein, leider alles besetzt. Wir wechselten dann den Tisch in der Hoffnung, dass die Wespen sich ein anderes Opfer suchen mögen. Hat nicht geklappt, und schlußendlich gaben wir auf. Zum Bezahlen ging ich ins Lokal, und da traf mich fast der Schlag: mindestens 4 Tische waren frei! Zwar stand jeweils ein Schild ‚ reserviert‘ auf den Tischen, aber weit und breit kein möglicher Gast in der Nähe. Auch waren die Tische nicht eingedeckt, so dass ich davon ausgehe, dass die Tische nicht in den nächsten Minuten besetzt gewesen wären. Danke, liebes Team vom Wasserschout, für das freundliche Ignorieren unseres Problems. Vor alles das Kind war mehr als enttäuscht über das Verhalten der Leute vom Wasserschout.
