Nice restaurant in the heart of Bremerhaven, next to theatre and art museum. A lot of photos and placate on the walls, which are nice conversation starters. The food is good and portions are pretty large, so you will not leave hungry. We made a reservation for 10 people, and asked for the place in the back of the hall. First visit for 10 years and nice to feel welcomed back by Katja, who was here back then. Hers, and the other girls, attention to customers wants and needs were exceptional.

I had a Thai curry which I must say was wonderful. Having watched other diners, most had cleared their plates, so I'd suggest that the whole menu is worth perusing and considering.

Ich war kürzlich mit ein paar Freunden zu einer Feier hier und habe das Lokal anschließend mit teils gemischten Gefühlen verlassen. Wir wurden im Vorfeld gefragt ob wir die Bestellung nicht schon Tage im Voraus aufgeben könnten um Wartezeiten zu vermeiden. Bei allem Respekt für Planung und der gleichen eines Lokals, fand ich es doch etwas kurios da ich ein solches Vorgehen nicht kannte. Da wird letztlich nicht vorbestellt hatten, konnten wir schon lange auf die Getränke und noch erheblich länger (deutlich über eine Stunde) auf das Essen warten. Mein Thai-Curry war soweit ziemlich gut. Die Portion war ok, preislich vielleicht etwas happig aber geschmacklich gut. Das Hähnchen war zart und die Sauce angenehm würzig. Dafür waren die als medium bestellten Steaks von dreien meiner Begleiter sehr zäh. Nicht gut. Das Ambiete auf der Terrasse war aber sehr gut. Würde ich nochmal wiederkommen? Schwierig.
