We visited the restaurant with a group of 8 P. I guess most of us would be all ok with the restaurant but I guess, I had had expected too much. The restaurant was crowded and all the tables were occupied which shows people like it to be here.
I came in pretty early that evening and noticed how dirty the Salt n Peper Muffineer were. The room was way too cold and you could hear the engine (whatever it was) from the kitchen.
I ordered the Tee Leaves Salat (fermented tea leaves I perhaps)and it tasted miserable. For the main course I ordered the Burmanese Duck which turned to be pretty near to Duck in Soy Sauce - very chinese like. At end I was prerry sure they got my order wrong.

Read moreThis is the only Burmese restaurant in the whole EU (except for UK). We drove all the way from Eindhoven to Cologne just for this restaurant because of my Burmese friend. The owner is super friendly and their food exceeds our expectation. It is totally worth the 1.5 hour driving. They change the whole set of plates between Appetizer, soup session and main food. I am astonished by how they follow the dinner etiquette. In the end they also offered free Authentic Burmese tea and snacks for us as a special treat since we brought a Burmese friend. I highly recommend you to go there to have an immersion experience of Burmese cuisine culture. I will certainly visit this restaurant again if I had a chance to...
