If you want some really good coffee, this is the place to go. You can chose from different types of coffee and the technique how you want it to be brewed (V60, Aeropress, Frenchpress, etc.). In case you don't know much about coffee you can also order regular coffee or just ask the waiters. They will be glad to help you out. Some reviews say the waiters are unfriendly and slow, but I cannot confirm that. We were able to order immediately and it took about 10 min to be served, which is rather fast considering that the place was crowded. Also the waitress was really friendly, smiled and came by to ask if everything was fine. I can recommend that you try the cake. I ordered a "Limetten Frischkäse Kuchen" (lime cream cheese cake) and it tasted excellent. Unfortunately it is not a very quiet place. The street is a bit noisy and the amount of people keep the volume up, so it's sometimes difficult to understand each other, when having a conversation. Anyways. Was looking forward to taste Cortado coffee today too, like I do almost every day during break from work. It was not possible. For 30 MINUTES this waitress never approached me and my colleague. All in all, she wasn't busy because there were only 2 tables with people.

AFTER 30 MINUTES, I went at the bar and ordered my coffee myself. Waited ANOTHER 10 MINUTES. I had to call her some times and she came and said: "I will pass your order again". She didn't even apologise for being disrespectful and all she said after we left was: "Alles klar". This is the second time of such situation with this totally, unfriendly waitress. Moxa shouldn't offer such a disappointing service to its regular clients and...

Gestern Abend (Samstag) habe ich mit einer Kollegin einen wunderbaren Abend in diesem Lokal verbracht. Wir haben uns ein wenig Wein gegönnt und die coole Atmosphäre genossen.

Ich bestellte einen Blanc de Noir Merlot – soweit, so gut. Als ich das Glas vor mir hatte, war ich allerdings etwas perplex und ging hinein, um nachzufragen, ob das wirklich der Wein sei, den ich bestellt hatte. Ich hab Rotwein erwartet… Natürlich stellte sich heraus, dass ich einfach nicht daran gedacht hatte, dass ein Blanc de Noir aus roten Trauben gekeltert wird und daher ein heller Wein im Glas landet. Unangenehm 😂! Leider hinterließ meine kleine Verwirrung wohl einen weirden Eindruck, denn die Stimmung zwischen uns und der Bedienung änderte sich spürbar. Selbst meine Kollegin bemerkte das. Und war etwas bisschen verwundert.

Trotzdem, als ich später einen weiteren Rotwein bestellte, der leider nicht verfügbar war, wurde mir ein Ersatz vorgeschlagen, der sich als absoluter Volltreffer entpuppte. Zwei Gläser dieses köstlichen Weins später, saß ich noch allein da, ließ den Abend und das Treiben der Straßen auf mich wirken. Guter Vibe.

Als es dann ans Bezahlen ging, schien meine Bestellung für einen Moment in Vergessenheit zu geraten, was mich aber keineswegs störte. Im Gegenteil, ich hatte eine wirklich gute Zeit. Nach einer Weile fiel es der Kellnerin wieder ein, sie entschuldigte sich und ab da war die Stimmung irgendwie auch wieder cool.

Wie dem auch sei, der nächste Besuch ließ nicht lange auf sich warten. Am nächsten Morgen… also heute… habe ich mir dort zwei Gläser doppelten Espresso gegönnt. Sehr lecker. Ich werde definitiv bald wiederkommen!
