Excellent food, but not welcoming and incompetent staff. The food we ordered was really excellent, great quality of ingredients and obvious cooking skills. But if you want to feel welcomed and have your food served under an hour, it's a no go. We went there with my girlfriend for Valentine's Day, thankfully we booked a table a few days ahead. We had to wait 50 minutes for our order to be taken by the waitress who thought "we were finished"... Then the food was served in a decent amount of time after the order was taken. However once we actually emptied our plates, the waitress came to clean the table, and we asked to have the menu to check the deserts. We are still waiting for it. She completely forgot. And impossible to make eye contact with any of the staff to communicate with them. So we decided to pay and leave. I showed my credit card (a normal MasterCard issued by a British bank that was never refused before), the waitress told me she doesn't accept this card, and it's written on the door, otherwise it's only cash. She told me there was an ATM outside, and went back to the kitchen. I was left there with no indication on where to find the ATM, and not knowing how much the grand total was. I left the restaurant and walked in despair looking for an ATM that I never found. My girlfriend had to pay, for Valentine's Day, so thanks for the ruined experience, Tanoshi. I share with you a photo I took of the sign on the door. It says "No credit card accepted - cash only". However, my girlfriend paid with... her German credit card. My advice: if you're not in a hurry, get the food delivered to your door. And if you want to eat Asian food and have a good experience, go...
Read moreAs you know, as a top world traveler Google reviewer, I don't focus on too much negative, so I will start with the positive first! Great decore and atmosphere, Chef's had positive vibrations....on the other hand traveling through Germany I was told there was an Asian Fusion place I had to try. The service started out ok.. When I asked for fresh fruit drinks, I was told they have freshly made drinks with Asian fruit, no sugar added. When the beautiful drink came to the table, we asked again, is this a sugar drink and she explained well the mix they have is added sugar and she can not take it out. We kindly said no, thank you, we will have a beer. She snaged the drink back and never came back to the table. We received our beer and food from another waitress who didn't speak to us. The shrimp tempura was like frozen type shrimp. The beef was very tough and not too much flavor, and my friend had the salmon with fried sweet potatoes. Salmon was good fried sweet potatoes very greesey and heavy I would.ask about the oil. And to top it off, I had to go get her to get the bill, and she told me they do not take US bank or credit cards. It was not the best Asian food or service, but the...
Read moreService was okay in the beginning, but got worse the longer we were there. It took long times until we got served and after we ordered it took an eternity until we got the food. But when we wanted to pay the receipt was there in under 45 seconds. 1/5
Miso soup tasted really bland, almost like it had no dashi 1.5/5
The No.11 Beef was basically really rare, but tasted quite good 4/5, but only if you like rage beef.
The black chicken tasted great, but not enough chicken or sauce. After asking for more sauce I got about 4 Times the sauce, that was already on the chicken 4/5
One of the ducks (i forgot the name. Tasted really sweet) was quite good 4/5
Did personally not try the sushi.
For Drinks: The Lychee Mix was quite good. The Maracuja Mix tasted just like the juice you buy in the store.
Ice cream was okay. Just store bought nothing special 2.5/5
Sencha is ok, but not that...
