The Burger House — Restaurant in Cologne

Great place for burgers🍔 And more! We live close by, and after a few weeks we became regular clients! They are always super friendly and the waiting time is never much. We usually take them to go on the way back from work or after a night out in the city and then eat them at home to be more comfy, but we've also eaten there with friends and the place has a great vibe! I think by now we've tried all of their burgers, and we like them all! Our faves are the BBQ bacon cheeseburger and the house special! And I definitely recommend to get the sweet potato fries with the truffle-mayo as side dish.. The hamburguer and fries were okay, but the service no. When we ordered the burgers in the store, they SAW we were going to pay with card because we had them in our hands and we wanted to pay upfront. Instead they gave us seats, and when we finished out meal they told us we needed to pay cash or paypal.

That's okay, we didn't hace either so I left my ID as guarantee that we would come back and went to an ATM. After we paid I asked the cashier twice to give me my ID back and he ignored me, I had to almost shout it out loud for him to gave it back.

I really liked the food! The only problem was that they have a plaque outside saying “pay one burger get two”, so we came in, ordered 2 burgers, they brought 3 (which was a mistake we did not care about, so we did not complain), but when we paid they charged 3 burgers instead of 2. When I asked about the plaque outside they said “it is only until a certain time”, which IS NOT written in the ad. they should specify it! Besides...
