Nice and atmospheric spot, with a cute backyard, mostly visited by locals. The building where the restaurant is located is a historic half-timbered house, adding a special touch to the scenery. It's a little hidden away two backstreets behind the famous Zwinger sight. The restaurant has a great variety of mostly vegetarian dishes, some meat options and a really amazing vegan menu. Went there for dinner with a colleague two days in a row, and the second time the food was even more delicious than the previous evening. We also ordered a bottle of rosé vine which was probably the tastiest of its kind I ever drank: very fruity, but not too sweet, you could really taste the strawberries and it went well with the seasonal asparagus dishes. We had excellent food here on a wintery Thursday night in February. Entering the warm, and cosy restaurant from the icy pavement outside was a lovely surprise! The restaurant has lots of little spaces/ rooms and low ceiling with atmospheric lighting, making it perfect for a winter meal out. The restaurant offers an impressive selection of mostly vegetarian meals. We had grilled goats cheese salad and tortilla chips with salsa to start , and a cheesy sweet potato, lentil and rice bake, and the chestnut and cabbage roulade with rosemary potatoes. I have to say, you have to visit this restaurant if you are in Dresden. It became my soul food spot even though I try this type of food for the first time. The price of the food seemed normal, but at the moment food arrived, I realized this restaurant is genuine which don’t hesitate to put real cheese real good ingredient more and more. And the way the chef treat the food and costumer is definitely zen, honest, truthful. Serving was also really nice, not like ritz, but kind and try to offer the food that costomers want for their best. You will feel it. It will be super difficult to find any restaurant with this level of taste for the price under 100 EUR per person. 1000% respect to chefs...
