We really enjoyed the food here, it was my first time but my girlfriend has been here before. The concept is slightly strange but once you have your first 'round' on the all you can eat it's clear what to do.

Good selection of marinades, veggies, seafood and meat. Even some strange options for people that want try things. The cocktails were also good. The service was generally also very good, nice staff quite friendly.

I really wanted to give the restaurant 5 stars but at the end of the meal we waited so long to pay that I didn't even tip the staff. I am sorry, but a 30 minute wait to pay is just unacceptable. I waited 10-15 minutes for a staff member to come they were all to busy doing random clean up tasks (2 hours before closing or were on a break I am not sure) asked one lady then waited a bit, asked another staff member and waited a further 10 minutes. He carried on other things and even brought things to other tables/took other requests. This was really a shame and was totally unavoidable.. 30 minutes is a long time when you just want to...

This is definitely my favorite restaurant in Dusseldorf, they have a lot of fresh ingredients, there are options in the ingredients for vegetarians, vegans, gluten free options so basically you can take your group of friends with you and everyone will be happy! I normally go there for dinner without reservation but if you are going during the weekends I recommend making a reservation to guarantee your spot! The sauces are amazing, they have explanation on what each sauce has and which type of meats or vegetables it matches, also information about level of spicy (I am very happy about this since I don’t like spicy food) they have 2 options, one you pay the weight of what you eat and the other one you eat as much as you like for a fixed price, if you eat less than 700-800g per meal I recommend the first option, otherwise go with the fixed price. Wir hatten uns spontan für einen Besuch beim Mongo‘s entschieden und ganz bequem online reserviert.

Reservierung war für 20.30 Uhr und zu meiner Verwunderung war das Lokal zwar gut besucht, aber nicht ausgebucht.

Das Personal ist vom Alter her eher jung, auf zack, sehr aufmerksam und super freundlich. Ich persönlich mag es, wenn der/die Kellner/in auch mal fürn nen Smalltalk am Tisch bleibt, wenn die Zeit es zulässt. Und das war hier gegeben. Obwohl wir das erste Mal da waren, fühlten wir uns gleich wohl und gut aufgehoben. Die Bedienung hatte beim Plausch aufgepasst. Wir hatten erwähnt, dass wir auf eine Nachspeise verzichten, da wir noch ins Kino wollten und da dann Nachos Pflicht sind. Als wir gingen, standen drei der Servicekräfte und riefen laut Tschö und unsere hibterher: Viel Spaß im Kino. Ich fand es einfach sehr herzlich und persönlich. Nicht so 0815 ich mach jetzt meinen Dienst.

Wir hatten uns jeder nur eine Hauptspeise bestellt, da wir sicher waren, Vorspeise, Hauptspeise und Nachtisch würde keiner schaffen .. Allerdings haben wir uns vorweg für einen der angepriesenen Cocktails entschieden. Sagenhaft lecker. Mein Sohn hatte die normale, alkoholfreie Variante, ich hatte nen Schuss Rum mit drin. Nicht nur optisch ne Show, nein auch geschmacklich.

Das Essen war ebenso top, wir hatten nen Hähnchen-Curry, genauen Namen weiß ich nicht mehr. Es war auf jeden Fall fantastisch. Und viel. Wir haben es beide tatsächlich nicht geschafft.

Schockverliebt war ich, als ich Salz und Pfeffer auf dem Tisch sah. Ich komm wirklich viel rum, aber das war Premiere.

Ich hole hier kurz aus. Ich bin Heilberaterin und predige meinen Kunden täglich, welche Dinge sie weiterbringen, um ihr Wohlbefinden zurück zu erlangen. Wasser und Ernährung sind da ein großes Thema. Auch das Salz. Normal findet man in Restaurants das herkömmliche Speisesalz / Tafelsalz. Deshalb hab ich meinen Salzstreuer immer in der Tasche.

Hier war es anders. Und das auch noch in Bio Qualität. Aber schaut selbst. Fotos sind dabei.

Preise waren auch sehr fair. Wir hatten 2 gr Flaschen Wasser, 2 Cocktails, 2 Espressi und 2 Hauptspeisen und hatten ne Rechnung von (genau weiß ich es nicht mehr, war vor drei Wochen) etwa 65 Euro.

Zusammenfassung: Personal einfach ein Traum, tolle Location, mega Speisen und Getränke, gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis .. normal würde ich einen Stern abziehen, da kein Aussenbereich vorhanden ist. Da es aber überdurchschnittlich gut war, vergebe ich 5 Sterne.
