Nothing special honestly. When we saw 4.5 stars in Google reviews, we thought it's great and went there. Having lived in Germany for 17 years already and experienced hundreds of pizzeria, we were truly not impressed at all. The salsiccia salami was just ok and nothing special. We have had so many nicer salsiccias everywhere in Germany and Italy so this was just ok. Also my pizza was nothing special. In fact they didn't even cook the salami eith the pizza. They put the salami on top after the pizza was cooked. Either they forgot and added it later or this is their style and it's just not good. I like the salami to be cooked and crispy. And worst of all the cheese was not mozzarella. It was some cheap cheese. And the price is 12 euros. Which is incredibly high for these low quality ingredients. I ordered spaghetti bolognese for my son and this was very tasty. But spaghetti was not aldente. It was almost too much cooked. And I ordered a mixed salad. It came with tons of creamy green sauce. I asked if they can change it and they said no and i should have told before. So not a friendly service at all. In the menu it doesnt say that it comes with tons of sauce over it. The salad was literally soaked and swimming in the sauce. All in all, we paid 50 euros for 2 pizzas, 1 spaghetti, 1 salad and 3 drinks. Very expensive in German standards for a low quality pizza. Normally you pay 5 euros for this kind of pizza. We will never go here again. Dont be fooled with the high ratings. I am giving 1 star only.

This pizzeria recommended to me by an Italian family who lives in Düsseldorf. In order to make a review I think it is necessary to review the genaral Italian cuisine in Düsseldorf. I guess the city doesn’t have a large Italian community as in many southern german cities, which is causing a lack of competition for Italian restaurants. This pizzeria would be considered nothing special in an Italian City, however definitely above average in Düsseldorf. If you like napolitana style pizza like me, this place would not meet your expectations. The dough of the pizza is crispy and thin. If you enjoy such pizzas, you can give a try. Italian family owners and Italian waiters are very friendly and definitely adding a value to the restaurant.

The pizza scampi and tagliatelle with cream are great, especially with the store-made garlic sauce that brought further strong flavor I looked for. The gnocchi was a bit different from what I had expected, from an Asian perspective although I don’t really know what it shall taste like but that’s how I felt. I remember it said it’s stuffed with some Ingredients but it’s not really the case and was more like heated dough without nothing inside. The flavor was rather on the surface of the plate. I might have selected another dish shall I have noticed its taste. The service by the waiter was professional as I could see from some of the European restaurants.

Worst place, food is not that great and treatment by the staff was shameful.

I got yelled at by 2 of the waiters for not being the number of people we reserved (8 instead of 12) when I was one of the participants, not the organizer, but that was of no interest to them. Some of the things they said, verbatim: "It would have been better if you hadn't come", "we're losing money with you here now", "we haven't taken any other big reservations because you were coming". When I tried to talk back and explain and also complain about the way they were talking to me, they got even angrier and said "Ok I'm done talking to you, I'm not talking to you anymore".

Big reservations..? we were 12 people... not 30. the restaurant was EMPTY, completely empty, and it stayed that way the entire time we were there (2.30h) so it's not like they didn't have any space left. They put us in the back of the place where the AC didn't work, it was 30º inside so it was impossible to be in there anyway.

We should have left but were tired and had already ordered and the party decided to stay, so we ended up staying, but apparently the pizzas were not even nothing special, so I don't see the point on going there. They only have Jever beer... not even italian, Peroni (which they advertise on their storefront).

In summation, horrible customer service, very rude, treated us like cattle and like they didn't want us there, the food is not that good and the offer of drinks is nonsense. Do not go here, there are tons and tons of good italian places in Düsseldorf not to have to bear with these guys. Pizzeria Romantica for example is a great place and they're always...

Very bad place, amazing food but disrespectful. We asked them if we could have a table for 3 and informed them we didn’t make a reservation, they told us to wait outside until a table was free. We were happy to wait for 20mins which was nothing for us. And when we went inside we ordered one pizza for 3 people. Before we sat down the guy asked us if we will finish in one hour and we said yes and he said good. Then another guy came and practically yelled at us for sitting down at a table and ordering the food we want. Last I checked customers are allowed to order what they want. They knew we client wanted to eat something very quickly. And then they proceeded to place the pizza very aggressively on the table with the other plates to eat. Even if the food is good it’s not worth it to get...
