The place is quite small, it probably fits around 10 to 12 people, so it can feel cramped during busy hours. Unfortunately, the smell inside is very strong: the whole place is filled with the scent of frying oil, and you leave with your clothes smelling like food.
We tried the Tori Kara Ramen, but it was quite disappointing. The chicken pieces were very small, and the broth lacked flavor. Personally, I prefer the other Takezo in Düsseldorf, where the ramen has a much richer and more balanced taste. The rice dish I ordered was fine, nothing special. The Taco Kara had some flavor but was far too greasy and tasted like old frying oil.
A few practical notes: the restroom is downstairs, and the handrail was completely loose, which could be unsafe. There are also steps at the entrance, making it difficult for people with reduced mobility.
On the positive side, they allow pets inside, which is much appreciated.
