Schnitzelhaus am Oberbilker Markt — Restaurant in Dusseldorf

Ordered using the Too good to go App. I have never so disappointed. Besides the fact that when I arrived at the restaurant the lady at the till made me feel like I was lost and at the wrong place. I was told by the staff that I should rather wait to lay in-store than pay on the app. As far as I know...we pay on the app because of the convenience of collecting later or a convenient time. Which then requires us to pay online.

I did not expect the meal that I received. Way below expectation. I feel that what I received was just a way to just make me leave the store....

We left quite late from a concert at the Mitsubishi Halle. Luckily, on our way home by bike, we came across this place still open. They don’t have vegetarian options, but we ordered two portions of fries, which, given how tired and hungry we were, felt like a much-needed treat.

I think the place is run by its owners since there were two older gentlemen who were very polite and hardworking. I felt a bit sad that, instead of resting at home, they still had to work so late at night.

The place is spotless and well-stocked. Plus, they prepare the food fresh...

This is a local place in a local neighborhood. It's not fancy, but it's fast, tasty, pleasant and reasonably priced. They mostly have currywurst and schnitzel. People drink here and it's near the train. Consider it a drive, which is always a good sign for food. The working guys eat here. There is a nice lady at the front. You order (they take cards) and they give you a buzzer for when your food is ready. There are lots of beer and drinks options. It's a dive, but I went as a single woman after dark and I was never concerned. Don't let other...
