Meh. The food here was average at best. My käsespätzle was like a plate of tasteless glue and my husband’s Bavarian Mixed Grill was a LOT of food with not a lot of flavor. We were ignored by the waiter, who we first met walking into the restaurant and he was yelling at the staff. Normally, this would have sent us in the other direction, but we were hungry and should have listened to our gut. The old city wall was beautiful and the setting for dinner was nice, so we decided to make the best of it.

Then when it came time to pay, were informed that we had to pay cash. No problem, it’s common to pay cash, but what is not common is for a waiter to tell you the amount that you owe, then upon paying, show you the amount again, and not offering you your change, soliciting for a tip. In a place that doesn’t take cash, it’s funny that they don’t have change, right?

Fantastic place if you need some take away late at night. They have a fairly decent selection of food some of which is at reasonable prices. The food was prepared in about 20 minutes. I had the cheeseburger. This is one of the more expensive meals, but I would say its worth it. With the burger, you get these delicious French fries. These are crunchy, but a bit too thin for my liking to be honest. They go perfectly with the burger. This was one of the more typical burgers you see, but a little bigger. It has a flappy bun and a crunchy patty. Typically, this would be bad, but it kind of worked here. There is also a cute little river by the place,...
