Pho 45 Erfurt — Restaurant in Erfurt

It is my second time here. Food taste good (first star here) but could be better and the service is fast (second star here). The people working here seems kind and give good vibes. Today some of them were singing the song “ I really like you” by Carly Rae Jensen (third star here). It is nice when they are in a good mood. I normally order Pho when I visit a Vietnamese Restaurant. But today I wanted to try another dish. The noodles in my todays dish are soft and fluffy. I am not sure if that is good or bad but it called my attention. In this restaurant, I would say the portions are bit small. I was expecting a bigger tea (I think teas in some Vietnamese restaurants in Berlin are bigger which gave me a higher expectation). Maybe it is me…my expectations failed me.

And I personally like it when there are a lot of GREENs on top of my Pho or as side dish in other Dishes. I would suggest to fill the plate with cheap greens such as lettuce just to make the dish look fuller and more volumetric. And add a bit of color on the top of the noodles such as carrots, chili, Micro greens or paprika, if possible in a vertical way, to gain a bit of volume to the upside. Or if it’s vegan or vegetarian it would be great if you ask if the want more greens or herbs :) Vegan/vegetarians enjoy their greens.

A very mixed experience. The service was incredibly slow. We had to ask for a menu after waiting over ten minutes without being given one, it took a further ten minutes for them to bring us one. All the unoccupied tables had dirty/used glasses etc that had not been cleared away. We ordered the mixed platter of starters which was very yummy & nice to try it all in one dish however the mains were where it was not good. We had the rice dish with duck- the rice was described as ‘sticky rice’ which it was but it also had clumps that were very hard/solid. The rice was very very sweet and had an almost vanilla flavour which on a savoury main was very odd and unpleasant. There was also a hair in my food which was very unpleasant also. The main thing that put us off was the fact that while we were eating staff were walking through the main floor of the building with bins!! Dirty bins with dripping mess on the outside- walking that through the tables of guests to the front of the building. This was very uncomfortable while eating and that with the very slow service means we will not...

Edited version * The food doesn’t taste good and there was hair in my food!!!! 🤮🤮🤮🤢🤢🤢🤢 They didn’t even apologize for it. The service is terrible and impatient!!! I don’t recommend this restaurant at all.

According to your latest comment: I would like to clarify why I don’t recommend this restaurant. After given a table by one of their staff, we ordered a drink. Suddenly after some minutes, we were asked to change to another table for some reason we are not aware of. We changed the seat accordingly. While my friend complained that she found a hair Stande in her food, the waitress pulled the hair strand from the food using her HAND and said this could be my hair. We try to calmly explain to her that it’s not possible given the distance between me and my friend’s seat. Since the friend who complained has a braided hair, the waitress had to embarrass me by comparing the hair found on the food with my hair. I feel they failed to take responsibilities for...
