Do not be fooled by the name. The owner wouldn't be able to point to Napoli in the map, let alone make authentic napoli pizza, the pizzas were soggy, drenched in oil and had a plastic feel to it, you would think it was deep fried but no they just can not cook, the sauce tasted like a 3 day old leftover pasta sauce, these kind of "pizzaz" that shouldn't be eaten by animals let alone humans do not have any correlation with napoli, do not make the mistake of ordering in this "restaurant". 1 star review because there isn't a...

They did some changes in the interior, so the ambiance is even better. Other observations: 1) Pasta portions got significantly smaller, but they still taste as good. 2) You don't get the parmesan on the table anymore. 3) Calamari fritti was mediocre. They give you steamed veggies as side dish, which were so hard and tasteless that one could not chew or cut... I know you want to look fancy, but calamari fritti deserves fries next to them. Not some unedible vegetable. 4) Carpaccio was way too sour....

Not the best Italian in Erlangen but just about passes muster. German influence (not a bad thing), but real Italian flavour is lost in more ways than one . Seems to be family run and they spend more time talking and eating to look after customers.
