Stefanias Cafè — Restaurant in Erlangen

I've had the pleasure of having lunch at this beautiful Italian cafe in the centre of Erlangen and both my friend (British) and myself (Italian) literally fell in love with the place, with the food, 100% Italian, and with the lovely owner Stefania, who prepares herself all the cakes and pastries. We've had the traditional parmigiana di melanzane (aubergines) and a sort of pizza bread with original neapolitan friarielli (OMG yes!) with mozzarella. The coffee was delicious too from a famous neapolitan brand, Caffè Borbone and last but not least we had the traditional Zeppola di San Giuseppe and the biscotto all'amarena to take away. Nice and sweet atmosphere. The food is tasty, but the portions are a bit small for the prices. Coffee and drinks are well done too. Zusammenfassend würde ich sagen ganz nett. Das Ambiente in der Schiffstraße wird hier aufgegriffen und es ist super nett und schnuckelig, weswegen wir auch vorbeigekommen sind. Wir saßen draußen und dort sind die Stühle etwas unbequem und auch sehr wackelig, was auch teilweise an der Straße natürlich liegt. Den Service fand ich tatsächlich etwas witzig, da man mit einer Fernbedienung eine Servicekraft rufen kann, um eine Bestellung aufzunehmen, oder zu bezahlen. Das Essen war in Ordnung, jetzt aber nichts außergewöhnlich überraschend tolles sowie auch der Service. Ich habe schon mehrere Cafés und Locations zum brunchen in Erlangen besucht. Und wenn man dieses Café mit diesen vergleicht, ist es eher beim Durchschnitt wenn nicht sogar darunter. Allerdings sind die Preise fair. Zusammenfassend also ganz okay...
