If you're looking for a warm, inviting spot to enjoy a traditional Turkish breakfast, Kano's Breakfast in Esslingen is a must-visit. Today, my family and I had the pleasure of dining here, and it turned out to be an experience that perfectly combined authentic flavors, cozy ambiance, and excellent service.
One of the standout offerings is their menu for two, which delivers a true Turkish breakfast feast. The spread was generous, featuring a variety of fresh, high-quality ingredients. From creamy cheeses and honey to ripe tomatoes, olives, and a selection of breads, every dish was thoughtfully curated to give us a taste of the rich and diverse flavors of Turkish cuisine. There was more than enough food to satisfy our appetites, with each item prepared to perfection.
The atmosphere at Kano's is just as delightful as the food. The restaurant is quaint and comfortable, with a relaxed vibe that made it perfect for a leisurely family breakfast. Whether you’re seated inside or at one of the outdoor tables, you’re bound to feel at ease. The space is designed with a charming simplicity that creates a welcoming environment, ideal for enjoying good food and company.
Despite the cozy setting, Kano’s Breakfast is quite busy, especially on weekends, so making a reservation ahead of time is highly recommended. This ensures you won’t have to wait long to get a seat, as the place is clearly popular among both locals and visitors. The staff were friendly and efficient, managing the crowd with ease while still making us feel like valued guests.
Overall, our experience at Kano's Breakfast was nothing short of wonderful. The food, atmosphere, and service all came together to create an enjoyable, memorable breakfast. If you're in the area and craving a hearty, traditional breakfast, I can’t recommend this spot enough. Just be sure to book your table in advance – it’s a local favorite...
Read moreWill not visit again. Very disappointed. Visited with 2 vegan friends for breakfast as they said they had vegan options. The Vegane Platte was just sliced cucumber, carrots, red pepper and tomato’s and one basic dip. For €10! Photo attached.
I could easily prepare sliced vegetables at home, I expected something much better than this. Some vegan cheese, salami, ham or bread, or additional different flavored dips. Just something to make it worth it’s cost! The only other vegan option was the very large €40 breakfast for 2 people, I do not know if that was just double of the same vegetables or included better food.
Looking at the reviews, I now see that someone else reviewed this vegan plate as being poor 8 months ago and the Kano response was that they would improve it.. such a shame...
Read moreSo very nice and forthcoming staff. Even though we where 5 and a half person and had a large stroller and potentially crying baby (which didn't happen, probably because of the relaxed atmosphere), we where welcomed and attended to warmly, the staff even helped with carrying the stroller around.
The drinks and food where lovingly prepared and of high quality. A little bit on the mildly seasoned side for me, but this is certainly a personal preference. Vegan options where clearly labeled, not the vegetarian ones, I prefer them to be labeled as well, but it wasn't a real issue with the ingredients being listed (it's just that sometimes not everything is being listed etc.)
Great...
