Bar/Restaurant Casablanca — Restaurant in Frankfurt

I am sitting there right now. It's 9:30 pm. I arrived here at 7pm and guess what? I haven't eaten so far. I mean what kind of a restaurant serves you your food 2 hours and a half after you ordered it? Who walks in a restaurant expecting they would spend at least 3 hours there. We have appointments and we are currently missing them because of the continuous lies and false promises of the staff that the food is arriving in 15 mins. Guess what? It's been 8 fifteen minutes now. Btw it took me 10 extra minutes to write this review and guess what again? The food is not here. What a shame? I had my first date with my girlfriend in this place. Now I will never ever ever ever step in it again. And I will actively ask people not to go. I will be warning people about this limbo in which they will waste their lives waiting for food that never comes. Kind of like Goddot, the food here never arrives.

Update: The rude manager after the food arrived with a bland sorry is complaining about us to the couple sitting in the neighbouring table saying "oh I cannot do everything. I am not the chef." What a lazy meaningless excuse. We had a reservation. Maybe if you cannot handle having a busy night, do not accept the reservations. And maybe do not lie multiple times about how long is left for the food to arrive. And maybe be nicer and don't talk about us to other customers. Who does that? What kind of disrespectful attitude is that? It's not even about good restaurant managing anymore. It's about basic human decency, of which this lady clearly has none.

If anyone values themselves and their time, they will never step a foot...

Not good at all. We ordered the vegetarian nachos… and it only tasted to onions, the amount was exaggerated! A friend order pisco sour… pls don’t ever order that, smell and taste was awful, a crime to the cocktail. I was really curious to know what they had used for resulting in such a bad drink. I asked what pisco they had used and if I could the brand or the bottle. The owner said they used grappa so I said: ahhh ok then it’s not pisco and he started mansplaining saying that it is the same, grappa comes from grape as vodka comes from potato… again, i said that it wasn’t a pisco sour, it was a grappa sour (still not a good one) but it was ok, i just wanted to know. The man was really pissed, keep talking with his staff etc etc. What I found most annoying was the attitude and this pretentious pose of teaching me about spiritual drinks. Barman had the same bad attitude. And I felt really sorry for the waitresses that work there, they were the only nice ones there (3 stars for them). We ordered some other things but nothing good...

Great restaurant in Bockenheim in Frankfurt am Main. I can sincerely recommend this place.

The food is great as they have dishes from many different countries: from Morocco 🇲🇦, India 🇮🇳, Iran 🇮🇷, Mexico 🇲🇽, Germany 🇩🇪 (of course), Lebanese 🇱🇧 and many more. I had a Persian Zereshk Polow (Rice with chicken) and it was so super tasty. My friends had an Enchilada and a Shakshouka (Middle Eastern dish made of an omelette in a Spivey tomato sauce). All of us three were very pleased.

The price is also all right (about 10 Euros for a dish) and the staff is friendly and quick. They have also many cocktails which are very cheap (6-8 Euros only).
