I love this cute little café! The first time I discovered it was just randomly walking by. I was hungry for a little dessert and decided to come in and see what they had. The variety of desserts was very good – lots of different options, and they all looked really nice. I decided to buy a pistachio croissant, and it was absolutely the right choice! The croissant was extremely delicious – the bread was very soft but also lightly crispy, and the pistachio cream inside was perfectly flavorful, smooth, and light. Without any exaggeration, I can say it was one of the best croissants I’ve had in my life! A week later, I came back to the café to enjoy another pistachio croissant with tea and spend some time there. Unfortunately, I came too late, around 5 p.m., and the pistachio croissants were already sold out. So I decided to try something else – I picked a fruit tart and a chocolate cube cake with hazelnut. I also ordered a cup of Earl Grey tea. I chose a table outside since the weather was really nice that day. By the way, the café’s indoor seating is very small and tiny, so sitting outside definitely feels more spacious and comfortable. My fruit tart was very delicious! I enjoyed its flavors a lot, and the pieces of fruit in it were really fresh. Unfortunately, I didn’t like the chocolate cube cake with hazelnut. It was pretty dry, and the chocolate tasted strange, more on the dark side, while I personally prefer milk chocolate and softer flavors. Still, I really enjoyed my little dessert time sitting outside and enjoying the warm, sunny weather! The café also has a good selection of sandwiches, fresh bakery items, and plenty of other desserts. For drinks, there’s a nice choice of hot and iced coffees, teas, and some other soft drinks. The prices at the café are very reasonable – you can get tea or coffee for around €3, or a dessert for about €4. This place accepts all major credit cards and Apple Pay. The staff who were working both times I came were super nice, and everyone spoke good English. I loved the modern and minimalistic design of the café, including a nice aesthetic touch even in the plates they use; plus, the entire place was spotlessly clean during both of my visits. Next time I’m back in Frankfurt, I’ll definitely check out the café again, and hopefully I’ll get that pistachio croissant! I can absolutely recommend this café...
Read moreFinding a place open on Sunday at 08:00 in Europe is a rare stroke of luck. While doing my laundry at a nearby laundromat, I discovered Café Oeders on Google. It seems to be one of the few spots open at that time in all of Frankfurt. They offer fresh coffee, sandwiches, and delicious cheesecake. By 09:00, the place was full of people. Why not open more locations in other areas...
