Turm Hotel Frankfurt — Hotel in Frankfurt

We were given the room on the top floor , which was so cold to stay in( even tho the hitter was on but did not work properly ) , asked the manager to fix , which he could not . And later we were provided with another one , which had a better hitting . The nightmare started when we went to bed. Even-though the hitter was working on max , it was still soo cold, like you even could not used the bathroom. We were in bed with our cloth on , double blankets. Our child had a 3 layers of clothing. Early in the morning we were fed up with this , this is a hotel with 4 stars , mind you . And the experience was so horrible as we were sleeping outside . The manager came and said “oh its a normal temperature for germany, the room is not cold , at home we also sleep with our cloth on , like layers of cloth” he said. Its WINTER OUTSIDE, -5 degrees, and you want to feel worm when you come back home , not to put a layer of clothing on and and try to worm up. The hotel has a good location, the room is clean and comfortable, the breakfast is delicious. Even though, I was disappointed. My accomodation (two night) was paid by my company by credit card. I asked at the check-in how much is the breakfast and the guy at the reception said is is seventeen euro per day for 1 person (i was travelling alone). When I checked out I wanted to pay for the breakfast for two days. The reception guy said I should pay 68 Euro. (It is the double of 2x17=34 euro that I should really pay). I was confused but I was hurry so I paid it. But I feel I am scammed! I feel that because of the conference I attended the hotel thought it is a business trip, it will be paid anyway, so they counted the double of price for the breakfast. The room we stayed in (superior twin room) was pretty clean. It had really big windows and a balcony towards the main street. It was bigger than in other locations. We did have a problem with the AC turning on by itself twice after 2 am, every single night, which caused us to get sick. The parking situation is not great either. First comes first served, and the spaces are awfully tight. If you have a big car, good luck with it. The service during our check out day was amazing, wish I would have remembered the name of the man (he was a little bit on the older side) and the blond woman was amazing too.
