Hotel Mondial Comfort - Frankfurt City Centre — Hotel in Frankfurt

I am working for Croatia company,and i was in this hotel in march 15.-19.03.2011.on Frankfurt fair.In January i try to book 2 single rooms on Booking.com,but there is only one left.So i contact(telefon) the hotel Mondial and speek with owner about possibility for the reserve 2 single rooms.He tell me that i must call him for one hour,because hi must check.||When i call him back later he tell me that he have 2 rooms,but he cant change this on the internet..So i ask him for the price,because the price on internet was 70 Euro for the room with breakfast.Hi confirm that will be the same price if i send to him my credit card number with valid...I send to him email,and he confirm reservation...When we leave hotel we pay 156 Euro+7 Euro for breakfast for the room(x 4 days)!!! I was insist from recepcionist to speak with owner but she tell he was sick and she will not disturb him ! And if we have any complains,he will back on Monday then we must contact him..||My boss is pay this bill...I contact owner in Monday but he say:This is a fair time,and for fair time is this price !!!! The hotel is in a great quiet location close to the city centre and away from the horrible Bahnhofsviertel. The 103€ for the two nights was also okay, I was given a free upgrade to a room with balcony. The communication with hotel was excellent, I informed the hotel would be arriving at about midnight and they left the room key in a outdoor safe, check-in was processed on the next day with very friendly staff. The hotel follows German law on ID Cards and ID Cards are not copied by this hotel, so this hotel does not keep copies of passports or ID cards, you can rest assured that your identity remains protected, this is a huge plus for Frankfurt. The room was cleaned and incredibly big, thought the furniture is quite dated, the mattresses really need replacement, too soft, I had to use the duvet from next bed to fill in the mattress "hole". I had breakfast once as I had to go straight to the airport, the breakfast is basic, so if you have plenty of time, take the breakfast somewhere else. Hotel Mondial Comfort is in a great location. Although it’s not in the train station area, it’s only a 2-minute walk to the subway station that takes you to the city center. Compared to the train station area, the surroundings here are much quieter, allowing for a peaceful night’s rest. There are also supermarkets and plenty of restaurants nearby. One thing to note is that Hotel Mondial Comfort does not have front desk staff on-site, so it might be less convenient if you need urgent assistance. However, for non-urgent matters, you can easily contact the hotel via WhatsApp and your needs will be met. The room decor is relatively dated, with a style reminiscent of the 1990s. Considering the affordable price, it was acceptable to me. The room had a spacious balcony and was quite roomy overall—definitely a big plus. In terms of cleanliness, aside from some noticeable stains on the carpet, everything else was generally well-maintained. Overall, Hotel Mondial Comfort offers great value for money.
