Sushi am Main — Restaurant in Frankfurt

Tried this sushi yesterday again and they amazed me. 3 years ago they were bang average, decent and nothing special but after all these year they have improved a lot. Let’s break this down.

Let’s start with packaging - they have their own style, unlike the most sushi shops and it looks classy.

Presentation is one of the first fundamental point in cooking. They surpassed it. Looks way more appetizing than other big name sushi restaurants.

Now comes tasting.. before I go to that one more thing I would like to point out, the sizes of sushi rolls. They have portioned it nicely not big not small. Finely cut too. And now comes the taste,

For Nigiri - the rice is chilled, lightly seasoned, fish taste fresh and when it combined it creates the creaminess and smooth flavour.

Shrimps tempura roll is great. Not too sweet and the add some nutty flavour to it which I didn’t expect and it turns out nice.

Grilled Salmon is lovely too. One thing which I didn’t like was that slice of lime. Otherwise it’s fine.

Gunkan pieces are tasty too. They have that tangy and spicy flavour. Have a bit of kick too.

Avocado and salmon rolls…. It’s American classic what more should I add ? It was great too.

Waiting time was abit shorter than I expected. Which I find it quite lovely. The are friendly and caring to the utmost. Overall I’d say 9/10 That one point is for further improvement in the future.

Of all the sushi restaurants I tried in germany, this one exceeded my expectations. It's a sushi heaven, a hidden one, I think. I ordered the sushi separately not the ones in a group or cluster to differentiate each kind and note them accordingly so I would clearly remember what to order next time. I can say each sushi tastes unique and flavourful. I can definitely say, when you're looking for an authentic sushi restaurant, this is the right one. I also tried their Matcha Ice cream. The taste is like that of a green tea leaves finely grounded, not too sweet and has a hint of bitter taste which is not overpowering. It's really a must try. The atmosphere is certainly wonderful, not too crowded and I really enjoyed my time savouring each sushi without hurrying up. The staff are also friendly and attentive. For me, it's a wonderful gastronomic experience dining in this sushi restaurant. I would absolutely visit this place once again to sate my sushi cravings and would gladly recommend to my friends, to all those who are sushi lovers and to those who just want to experience a variety of flavours of...

Bought only 2 pieces of sushi and had severe food poisoning. Such restaurants that serve stale fish to customers should be closed down. Never ever going back there again and recommend every reader to stay away from the Restaurant. As a response to the owner, you get what you give to others.
