Me and my bf went there for his birthday yesterday. The first thingI did not like in this restaurant was, while we were deciding what to order as dessert, the man who welcomed us (I assume he was Chef waiter) he came nearby and offered help and he called me ‚you‘ . I found this behavior strange at first step. But the worst thing was that when my friend went to restroom, i paid the bill and before my friend came back from restroom, that person came again and called me by my name -he knows from reservation (what ??!) and told me that my friend did not give tip (barely we are still sitting). I said that i paid the bill and i can leave the tip before we leave. The man continued talking to me by asking if I was spoiled or not. I said no worries and he said that i should tell my friend to leave tip for them. (why to tell again ?) I repeated, that I paid the bill and I will leave tip. That is totally rude and out of good manner according to me. I think tip is never asked, but given. Also how come would he tell that my friend should give the tip if he is my guest and I am the one who paid ? How could a waiter talk to a guest in such a restaurant by telling „tell your friend“ without knowing the people and the relation between them ?
I did not raise the issue there yesterday, but i would never go there again. I do not recommend this place, not only because of this person and his unprofessional attitude but also because of the prices, which do not fit the service and the food...
Read moreWent to the M Steakhouse with my wife for a belated Valentine’s dinner. We each had one starter, a steak and fried vegetables and we shared truffled fries. Drinks: sparkling water, two Aperol Sprizz and one Cuba Libre. Paid 200 EUR in the end which would have been acceptable, if it wasn’t for one thing: as we had lots of leftovers of the fried vegetables and some pieces of steak, we asked for it to be packed, so we could take it home. The waitress told us that she could only pack the steak and that she wasn’t allowed to pack the fried vegetables according to the restaurant’s rules. As we questioned the rule and couldn’t get any explanation from the waitress, we asked to talk to the manager. The manager came and told us the same thing, referring to a rule without any reasonable explanation. My wife mentioned that she had been to the restaurant several times before and that in the past it never was a problem to take leftovers home (not only meat). We also stated that we would appreciate if these perfectly fine leftovers wouldn’t have to be wasted. The manager still did not have any reasonable explanation and even got rude at the end, telling us something like „it’s enough now, we don’t do it, we will throw them away!“. Read moreWell to be honest the one and only star goes to the kitchen staff that delivered the food perfectly done to all our wishes. From the beginning, not only did they take an 80€ feed per person for our booking (we were 12!) then they send an email to confirm the reservation and on top of that they call to confirm. It’s a bit too much for a table reservation. First view when entering the small restaurant are a drinking chef and a messy table full of personal items, after that a very unnecessary unfriendly waiter. The menu was hard to read, and the prices is over the top for being a steakhouse. Even though the waiter had a paper to write down everything we ordered she forgot to bring a few items and still put this item on the bill. (Not to mention some ketchup to your fries will cost you extra 2€) To our surprise the delivery of the food was delicious and wonderful prepared. When the evening came to an end, we got handed over one bill and we had to make the work of the waiter ourselves, to split the bill because she refused to do that with groups. Never have I heard something so ridiculous and lazy, and from my own working experience in the field I know that is a big NO NO to do to a customer no matter how big the group are.
