Me and the two other friends of my are 3 doctors from Basel, Switzerland. One of our friends, who is indeed rated number 1 in the doctoral program, was wearing Hijab. The waiter was not looking at her from the very beginning, and was "throwing" the dish to her, instead of placing it in front of her. The waiter made a sigh and grabbed the menu from us aggressively sound after "one out of 3" of us said she would go with the food without drink. Please see the bill. We paid attention and he was smiling and laughing with German locals sitting at the table next to us. If we were not tourist passing by this town, we would have called the police. I’m a Google review aficionado and so I didn’t know what to expect when I selected this restaurant for dinner after a fútbol game in Freiburg last weekend. Some reviews were good but also some very negative ones about the service. I was happy to learn that they must’ve been isolated occurrences as my friends and I enjoyed our meal and overall dinning experience.

Although the menu could’ve used a bit more variety, I still found some very tasty items to eat at a reasonable price. Could’ve been better to have more risotto options or ravioli that didn’t cost 18 bucks, but their pizzas and appetizers were enjoyable enough.

Cert decent wine selection you can enjoy with dinner.

Service was swift and friendly, attentive and helpful.

A bit of a waiting time during dinner rush, which is a good sign. I advise placing a reservation if you know what time you will be visiting the restaurant.

Always a pleasure . The food is great, the location is lovely in the middle of the old part of town . We go her a lot . Tonight the wine recommendation on the table was Franziska Herbstater - holzfass. excellent wine . We Had a lovely rucola salad, bruschetta and spaghetti. Great food , served by a really really friendly helpful great waiter - i think his name was Julio .. never seen him here before , but top marks for trying so hard and doing such a great job .
