McDonald's — Restaurant in Freiburg im Breisgau

I've had one of the worst delivery experiences of my lifetime with this branch. I ordered the food at 6:30 PM. At 7:30 I called the restaurant. They hung up on me 4 times while I was explaining the situation (like, 5 seconds into the call). I had to yell at them the fifth time so they would stay on the line. Only then they let me talk, and after holding me on the line for 5 minutes, they told me the food was on the way. They did give me a bland apology, so they have that going for them.

At 8:35 the food finally arrived (after more than 2 hours). And it was a horror show. The food was not protected. The paper bag was soaked in the rain. The food was cold. The fries were a cold mush. The McFlurry had completely melted. The sides and the drinks were not at all what we had ordered.

My favorite part. When I looked at the time of the preparation on the receipt, the food was prepared at 7:40. That means they only did it when I called, 1 hour after the order. And then it spent 1 hour under the rain.

I'm not going to order from this...

Ich hatte leider 3 mal eine sehr schlechte Erfahrung in dieser Filiale. Ein Mal wurde mir als Veganerin ein vegan Ts mit Käse und eine Blueberry Cheesecake Tasche anstatt einer Apfeltasche gegeben. Das hatte ich leider erst zuhause gemerkt und konnte dann nur die Pommes essen. Beim 2. Mal sprach ich das an und eine Frau versicherte mir, dass es für Kurze Zeit veganen Käse im Sortiment gab und, dass diese Tasche für kurze Zeit mal vegan war. Die Frau schaute mir direkt ins Gesicht und wirkte sehr glaubhaft, deswegen nahm ich das dann erstmal hin. Nach Recherchen finde ich rein gar nichts was dies bestätigt, daher nehme ich an, dass die Frau entweder eine sehr gute Lügnerin ist oder einfach keine Ahnung hat, was vegan bedeutet. Beides überhaupt nicht in Ordnung wenn man angibt, für Veganer Optionen anzubieten. Letztes mal wirkte vor Ort alles in Ordnung, ich kontrolliere jetzt immer meine Bestellung, lediglich die Pommes waren nicht so gefüllt wie sonst, sondern leerer, aber das fand ich tolerierbar. Als ich zu Hause in den Burger beißen will, kommt mir ein stechender Geruch in die Nase. Ich versuchte ein Paar bissen runterzubekommen, aber nach dem 4. Biss verweigerte mir mein Körper weiter zu essen. Ich aß dann wieder nur die Pommes. Mir war danach auch schlecht und mein Magen tat mir weh. Irgendetwas war schlecht auf dem Burger, ich nehme an die Soße.

Ich gehe selten zu McDonalds nur wenn ich einen gemütlichen Convinience Moment haben möchte. Das wurde mir in dieser Filiale leider im wahrsten Sinne des...

As the time of writing this, for some reason this McDonald's or the McDonald's of this region have decided to remove gluten free bread. Not only that but the staff have ZERO clue of what gluten is and I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't know how to prevent cross contamination. The manager was also clueless about gluten free products.

The only good part that I have seen is that they give you a decent amount of napkins and it's comfortable...
